Bobby Lashley

Chris Masters

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Congress has contacted Bobby Lashley and Chris Masters.

Congress has contacted Chris Masters and Bobby Lashley in an attempt to gather more information about drug testing and drug use in professional wrestling.

Someone in Congress has been paying attention to the wrestling industry.

Targeting Chris Masters and Bobby Lashley is a smart move for them because there’s obviously hard feelings between those two guys and WWE. Bobby Lashley walked away from the company after being angered by management, so he might be willing to reveal some things. Chris Masters was fired last year, so he has animosity as well.

Also, Congress actually asked Chris Masters about how WWE was making fun of him on camera for losing weight and muscle mass.

This is an interesting development. Just when you think that Congress was fading away on this issue, they come back with a pretty strong blow to WWE.

Bobby Lashley

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Bobby Lashley is still being paid by WWE.

As part of the agreement on his release, WWE has agreed to pay Bobby Lashley his full contract until the end of May. In exchange, Bobby Lashley will not be allowed to jump to TNA during that time period.

Recently, Kurt Angle and Booker T have been pushing TNA to bring in Bobby Lashley. He’s been said to be leaning more toward TNA than a career in MMA.

Must be nice to be able to sit at home and receive a hefty WWE paycheck without doing anything.

Bobby Lashley

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that WWE made a strong effort in trying to keep Bobby Lashley from leaving.

Much like they did when Carlito tried leaving the company, WWE had negotiations with Bobby Lashley in an attempt to keep him from walking away from the company. Unlike the Carlito situation, though, WWE was unable to get an agreement worked out.

There’s still no word on whether or not WWE is preventing Bobby Lashley from working with TNA or fighting in MMA. However, there were reports that Bobby Lashley signed on with an agency that represents several MMA guys.

Don’t forget, WWE Shop is selling Bobby Lashley merchandise (action figures, shirts) for cheap right nows.

Bobby Lashley

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Bobby Lashley made around $1 million in 2007.

Despite missing quite a bit of the year with an injury, Bobby Lashley still managed to pocket approximately $1 million from WWE. That number is even more impressive when you realize that Bobby Lashley didn’t have a lot of merchandise created for him. A lot of the other high earners (Jeff Hardy) in WWE make a good amount of their money from merchandise sales.

A million dollars is a lot more than what the majority of the roster makes. It’s another clear sign that Vince McMahon had Bobby Lashley pegged as his future superstar. It also means that money wasn’t the primary reason why Bobby Lashley left.

As is tradition with wrestlers that leave the company, WWE has put the Bobby Lashley merchandise on sale. So, now would be a good time to grab some cheap Bobby Lashley stuff.

Bobby Lashley

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that one of Bobby Lashley’s gripe with WWE was his Wrestlemania pay.

Bobby Lashley was paid approximately $250,000 for his participation at Wrestlemania. For those of you that have already forgotten, he represented Donald Trump in a match against Umaga, who was representing Vince McMahon.

Every wrestler gets paid a different bonus for their participation at Wrestlemania based on how high up they are on the card.

A lot of people feel that Bobby Lashley was paid pretty low considering that he was involved in the most high profile match at Wrestlemania last year. The match was believed to have drawn the most money for the pay per view.

For some reason, WWE didn’t create too much merchandise for Bobby Lashley. It’s weird because WWE pushed him as one of the company’s top stars. He was the ECW champion for a while. Plus, he had a pay per view title match against John Cena. Here’s the only shirt they ever made for Bobby Lashley.

WWE Undertaker

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Fathead will be producing some new posters featuring WWE legends.

Fathead CEO, Brock Weatherup, announced that his company will be releasing some new Fathead posters featuring new WWE legends in 2008. He also stated that the partnership with WWE during Cyber Sunday greatly benefited his company with the extra exposure.

Right now, Fathead does have a handful of gigantic WWE posters available featuring Batista, Bobby Lashley, John Cena, Triple H, and Undertaker.

It wasn’t that long ago that WWE ran a poll asking their fans who they would like to see be made into a Fathead for the next series. The choices were Boogeyman, CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio. Interesting that the Boogeyman would be one of the wrestlers listed, especially when there’s a good chance that he won’t be with the company when the next series is released.
