Wrestlemania 1 Comment

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that there is some backstage resentment towards Floyd Mayweather.
Floyd Mayweather’s pay for Wrestlemania has ruffled a few feathers. While it’s still not entirely certain that Floyd Mayweather is actually getting paid $20 million, he’s still getting a sizable amount of money from WWE. It’s enough money to lower the payout for the WWE roster.
We understand that spending money on Floyd Mayweather is spending money to market Wrestlemania. He better come through and deliver the goods. Otherwise, WWE would have just alienated their employees without much of a gain.

Batista No Comments

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Batista was at a UFC event over the weekend.
At UFC 82: The Pride of a Champion, Batista was shown on camera. Announcer Mike Goldberg, who was once rumored to eventually replace Jim Ross on Monday Night Raw, made a reference to the friendship between Batista and Brock Lesnar. Interestingly enough, Batista was booed by the audience.
Wonder why the audience booed Batista. Steve Austin and Kurt Angle received cheers from the audience at the UFC event in Las Vegas.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Brock Lesnar will be fighting Mark Coleman next.
On the very same night that Mark Coleman was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, he announced that he would be coming out of retirement. He has signed a 4 fight deal, and the first opponent will be Brock Lesnar. The fight will happen on August 9, 2008 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
There’s a lot of wrestling fans who are still bitter at Brock Lesnar for leaving wrestling, but you can’t deny the fact that he’s been a tremendous marketing figure for UFC. Think about it. Retired hall of fame fighter coming back to fight the former professional wrestler in his hometown. That’s how you create a buzz.

John Cena 1 Comment

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that John Cena has heat on him backstage for his comments about the Rock.
Recently, John Cena made some very public comments about the Rock. He stated that he didn’t like how the Rock didn’t come back to wrestling often enough for his fans. Well, sources state that he has been receiving some heat recently for those comments from the veteran wrestlers.
The heat might be a bit exaggerated. John Cena isn’t the only person that feels this way about the Rock. He’s just the only person that has publicly called out the Rock.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that the Godfather will be making another appearance soon.
According to the Godfather, he will be making another appearance in WWE soon. The Godfather, whose real name is Charles Wright, is currently the general manager of a strip club in Las Vegas called Cheetahs.
In a recent interview, the Godfather had the following to say.
“Every so often, they’ll call me and see if I can make an appearance. If I can, I will. But it depends on where it is and what else I have going on. I’m doing one soon, but that’s because it’s in a city where I can visit (some family). Otherwise, if I can avoid being on a plane, I will.”
Just for research purposes, the staff at WrestlingRevealed.com will be sure to visit Cheetahs a couple of times when we head out to Las Vegas in a few days for a business trip. Purely for research, folks. We’re doing this for you.

Abyss No Comments

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Abyss has been removed from the TNA roster on the official website.
In order to sell the storyline that Abyss is gone, TNA has removed his profile from their official website. He is still with the company. Abyss will be taking some time off of television and return with a new character.
It’s a small gesture, but it really does show that the company tries to sell a storyline as much as possible. They did the same thing for Christopher Daniels as well.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony has sold out.
Tickets went on sale this week and sold out rather quickly. That’s not a surprise since there’s well over 50,000 people who are going to be in town for Wrestlemania.
This ceremony has a good chance at being the best one ever just on the strengths of Ric Flair’s induction speech. You know it’s going to be a good, emotional speech that’s going to come straight from Ric Flair’s heart.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Chris Jericho’s next book will be released in the fall of 2009.
“Undisputed Attitude” will be the sequel to Chris Jericho’s first book, “A Lion’s Tale”. The book will pick up where he left off in the first one. He ended his last book right as he signed with WWE. The title refers to him being the first Undisputed Champion in WWE. It also refers to the Attitude Era.
Should be a good book. Chris Jericho’s first book was a great read because his personality really came through.
