WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that WWE will be posting TNA news on their website now.
In a rather interesting move, WWE has decided to post news from various wrestling websites. Some of the news being posted on WWE.com now has news concerning TNA, Ring of Honor, and other wrestling companies.
In the past, WWE has ignored other wrestling companies and websites.
The reason for WWE doing this is because they are concerned about their declining website traffic. The traffic is still higher than it has been over the last few years, but it has recently started to go down. WWE did this move in an attempt to gain more website visitors.

TNA No Comments

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that TNA iMPACT! hopes to equal Smackdown’s ratings within the next year.
In a recent interview, Kurt Angle revealed that the company’s goal is to have TNA iMPACT!’s ratings equal that of Smackdown within the next year.
As expected, a lot of fans are already bashing Kurt Angle and TNA for setting such lofty goals. However, no one gave TNA a chance at ever matching ECW’s ratings. People have also been predicting that TNA will be going out of business for each of the last 5 years they’ve been in existence.
It’s going to take a lot of work for TNA iMPACT! to reach that goal, but we’re not going to bet against them.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Jake “the Snake” Roberts will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
Jake Roberts will be allowed some time away from the rehab center that he has been staying at in order to attend the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony this year. There’s no word yet on who will induct him.
A few weeks ago, Jake Roberts was checked into a rehab center in Georgia. His stay in rehab has been paid for in full by WWE.
There’s also talks that Scott Hall may be allowed time away from the rehab center as well to attend the WWE Hall of Fame. He’s not going to be inducted. Scott Hall has been staying at the same rehab center as Jake Roberts. WWE is also paying for his rehab as well.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Rey Mysterio may miss the rest of 2008 after having surgery.
Dr. David Chao, who happens to be the team doctor for the San Diego Chargers, performed the surgery. He stated that it was a complete rupture of the tendon. He was able to bring the tendon back down to the elbow.
There are also reports floating out there about Dr. David Chao being sued by several patients. Those reports shouldn’t be taken too seriously because doctors get sued pretty frequently, especially high profile doctors. If Dr. David Chao wasn’t a competent doctor, the San Diego Chargers wouldn’t utilize him.
According to WWE, Rey Mysterio will miss the rest of 2008. However, he could return a lot sooner. John Cena was supposed to be out a lot longer than he actually was.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Judas Mesias will be leaving TNA shortly.
Judas Mesias is said to be leaving TNA for the time being. TNA doesn’t appear to be opposed to that move since there doesn’t seem to be any plans for former WSX star. It also doesn’t help that Abyss is going to be taking some time off from television for a few weeks.
The door isn’t completely shut for a return in the future, though. Judas Mesias is leaving on good terms.
More than likely, Judas Mesias will continue to work down in Mexico. Since he was working in TNA without a contract, Judas Mesias was allowed to continue working for AAA. He’ll just pick up more dates in Mexico now.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Congress has contacted Bobby Lashley and Chris Masters.
Congress has contacted Chris Masters and Bobby Lashley in an attempt to gather more information about drug testing and drug use in professional wrestling.
Someone in Congress has been paying attention to the wrestling industry.
Targeting Chris Masters and Bobby Lashley is a smart move for them because there’s obviously hard feelings between those two guys and WWE. Bobby Lashley walked away from the company after being angered by management, so he might be willing to reveal some things. Chris Masters was fired last year, so he has animosity as well.
Also, Congress actually asked Chris Masters about how WWE was making fun of him on camera for losing weight and muscle mass.
This is an interesting development. Just when you think that Congress was fading away on this issue, they come back with a pretty strong blow to WWE.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Shawn Michaels will be inducting Ric Flair into the WWE Hall of Fame.
With the two scheduled to wrestle one another at Wrestlemania, WWE management felt that it was best to have Shawn Michaels inducting Ric Flair into the WWE Hall of Fame. The ceremony will occur the night before Wrestlemania 24, so you can expect some sort of promotion being done as well.
Nothing against Shawn Michaels, but we’re a bit disappointed with this choice. We listed about 10 other wrestlers who are better candidates to induct Ric Flair.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that several TNA wrestlers are working without a contract.
Several TNA wrestlers, including Black Reign, Rellik, Payton Banks, and Judas Mesias, are working without a contract. They are being paid per appearance.
It’s really not a surprise that Black Reign and Rellik aren’t under contract. Their characters limit them from being able to move too far up the ladder. Payton Banks has a decent role in the company, so her signing is probably just a formality that needs to be completed. Judas Mesias has a pretty high profile for a guy that doesn’t have a contract.
With these wrestlers not being under contract, it wouldn’t be a shock for them to jump to WWE, ROH, or another wrestling promotion.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that John Cena has publicly criticized the Rock.
In an interview with the UK Sun, John Cena talked about the Rock and his career choice. John Cena praises the Rock as a person, but he doesn’t like how the Rock hasn’t come back to wrestling.
John Cena talks about wanting to be a wrestler for his entire life. He talks about how the Rock basically fell into the business (probably because of his family ties). He says he doesn’t have a problem with the Rock becoming an actor (he’s doing the same thing). However, he doesn’t like how the Rock doesn’t come back to reward his loyal fan base.
Got to give John Cena credit for daring to say this. A lot of wrestlers feel the same way. However, most wrestlers are smart enough not to cross that line. It’s even more amazing that John Cena would say this knowing that the Rock is one of the beloved performers ever while he’s one of the most despised (fairly or unfairly) wrestlers ever.
The two are expected to cross paths later on this year during Wrestlemania weekend. It’ll be interesting to see how the Rock reacts.
