WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that TNA has began their drug testing program.
Initially, the drug testing was to begin on Monday, but TNA president Dixie Carter was unable to attend the meeting. She wanted to be there in person for the first test, so she had it rescheduled for Tuesday instead. Dixie Carter was also the first volunteer for the drug testing.
Those that were backstage believe that the drug testing is completely legitimate. Medical professionals were there to administer the test. Urine sample was obtained and sent off to a 3rd party for examination.
Since TNA is a private company, they are not required to reveal the results from the testing to the public. However, the results will be on file in case the government needs to see it.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that WWE has narrowed down their choices for the commentator’s spot at the Royal Rumble.
The top three choices are Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and Tazz. There’s a chance that the company may decide to use all three guys on the commentating booth during the actual Royal Rumble itself.
Jim Ross, Joey Styles, and Jonathan Coachman should all be on hand to cover the respective brand’s matches on the undercard.

Jim Ross No Comments

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Jim Ross has signed a new 2 year contract with WWE.
Jim Ross, who is widely recognized as the voice of WWE, will be doing the play by play commentating for Monday Night Raw for the next two years.
There was a lot of speculation as to whether or not WWE wanted to replace him with someone younger and “hipper”. With this new contract being signed, it looks like management made the decision to keep things intact for another 2 years.
There are reports that Jim Ross will also being doing fewer and fewer things backstage. That’s fine since he constantly sounds like he doesn’t want as much responsibility as he used to have.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that there is already some backstage heat on Ron Killings with WWE.
The decision to bring Ron Killings back to WWE was made by upper management and not the writers. Brian Gewirtz, the head writer of Monday Night Raw, had a confrontation with Ron Killings during his last stint in the company. With that mind, chances are, Ron Killings will probably end up on Smackdown or ECW.
Hopefully, they can squash the hard feelings because Ron Killings is really a talented worker. He deserves a chance to shine.

gail kim No Comments

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Gail Kim will be needing some time off.
TNA did a storyline where she suffered a concussion. That was to help explain her absence.
The real reason why she’s going to take some time off is to deal with a ruptured breast implant. This isn’t the first time that this has happened to her. It happened twice while she was wrestling in WWE.
While she’s out, TNA will promote ODB into the main program in the women’s division.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Triple H will be facing a mystery opponent on Monday Night Raw this week.
There are reports that the mystery opponent could be none other than the returning Big Show.
WWE has been trying to figure out the right way of bringing him back. A lot of people backstage were against bringing him back at the Royal Rumble since he’s not scheduled to win the event. Using him as a mystery opponent on Monday Night Raw could generate a buzz.
Hopefully, though, WWE decides to utilize the Big Show on Smackdown or ECW instead. The main event scene on Monday Night Raw is already getting crowded.

Triple H Blinking Pin
Some of the cooler items from the WWE Shop usually don’t get promoted on TV because they’re too small. Wrestlers wear their new t-shirts all the time to promote them. Can you imagine Triple H wearing this blinking pin during an interview to promote? It’d be pretty funny. Cool pin, though. |

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that TNA and UFC have reached an agreement on a marketing deal.
TNA will be involved in promoting the upcoming UFC fight featuring Brock Lesnar. The deal makes quite a bit of sense in that a lot of TNA’s fan base will be curious about seeing Brock Lesnar in a UFC match. That should help spark some additional pay per view buys for UFC.
No word yet on what TNA will be receiving from this deal. UFC might be hesitant to promote professional wrestling since they want to separate themselves from it. TNA could just be receiving cash for the deal.
Kind of interesting that UFC didn’t reach a deal with WWE. That would definitely give them a boost in pay per view buys, especially considering Brock Lesnar was a former WWE champion.

UFC “Raven’s End” Black Men’s T-shirt
WWE isn’t the only one getting into the brush design for their merchandise. UFC is doing it as well. Can’t blame them. This is the current “in” thing when it comes to shirts now a days. |

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that WWE has reduced Rey Mysterio’s work schedule.
When Rey Mysterio first returned from his injury, he had requested a reduced schedule because he wasn’t confident that his knees were going to be able to withstand the hard schedule. WWE declined his request and gave him a full schedule.
Now, Rey Mysterio has been given more and more days off from the tours. He’s working a schedule similar to what the Undertaker is working. Neither guy works the full schedule. They’re generally on TV and pay per views, with an occasional house show here and there.
