WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Ashley Massaro has commented on the battle between the TNA Knockouts and WWE Divas in a Playboy Poll.

On her Myspace Blog, Ashley Massaro had the following to say.

“HEY punks, Playboy contest not finished,who knew! What about this Knockout vs Divas stuff huh?

SO apparently I was wrong about the contest being up and coming in second, you guys did a great job gettin us there but….the contest ain’t over ! WHAT~! Sorry I didn;t know either, I was happy with 2nd :o) but we got a chance to take the cake

Ashley Massaro has cut her hair shorter. However, we can’t really tell what other changes she’s made because she’s made her Myspace profile pictures private.

She is expected to be back on Smackdown very soon.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Ric Flair hasn’t actually signed his new WWE contract just yet.

Apparently, Ric Flair and WWE have come to an agreement on a new contract. However, the contract itself hasn’t been officially signed by Ric Flair just yet.

No word yet on what the hold up is. There’s a chance that there might be some last minute changes that need to be done with the contract. That, or Ric Flair and WWE simply haven’t had the time to finalized the deal just yet.

Ric Flair’s current contract expires on January 8, 2008, which isn’t that far away.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that MVP & Rey Mysterio have been pushing management to sign Norman Smiley.

Norman Smiley worked a tryout match with WWE not too long ago. He received quite a good reaction from the audience.

During his tenure with WCW, Norman Smiley had a bit of a cult following because of his in-ring antics. His trademark dance constantly was able to generate a reaction from the audience.

Rey Mysterio has known Norman Smiley from their days working together in Mexico. Norman Smiley was one of the people that helped to train MVP for his WWE debut.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Road Warrior Animal may be close to signing with TNA.

Road Warrior Animal (real name Joe Laurinaitis) has been in talks with TNA about joining the company in the creative department. He’s wrestled for TNA in the past as a mystery partner for Rick Steiner. If he signs on with TNA as a writer, there’s always the chance that TNA could use him a few times on screen because of his connections to several of the current characters.

It’s a bit interesting that Road Warrior Animal would go to TNA instead of WWE since his brother, John Laurinaitis, works backstage for WWE.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that WWE has been talking about a Wrestlemania match between Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair.

A few weeks ago, there were talks about having Shawn Michaels and Triple H wrestle one another at the big event, but then those plans changed to include Batista and Randy Orton.

That left Shawn Michaels as the odd man out.

Management still is not sure who to put Ric Flair against, but it will have to be a high profile match. A match against Shawn Michaels with his career on the line would be a high profile match.

If it was up to Ric Flair, he’d probably want his match to be against Triple H, but WWE needs him to be in the Raw main event for Wrestlemania.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Dusty Rhodes is the reason why Boogeyman has not appeared on ECW in quite a while.

The Boogeyman has not been seen on WWE TV since he was involved in that segment with Degeneration X a while back on Monday Night Raw. The reason for this is because the writers have a difference of opinions on how to utilize the talent on the shows.

Brian Gerwitz and Ed Koskey, both of whom are writers for Monday Night Raw, like utilizing the Boogeyman because they enjoy writing comedic skits for him.The comedic skits are basically just funny to the younger fans in the audience. Dusty Rhodes, however, prefers to have fewer skits and promos on ECW. As the head writer for ECW, he’s pushing for more in-ring action.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the Boogeyman was moved over to the Raw brand when the next WWE Draft Lottery takes place.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that former WWE diva, Trish Stratus, was featured on an episode of MTV Cribs.

For those of you that don’t know, MTV Cribs is the show where people get a tour of celebrity homes. Trish Stratus showed off her home, which has 8 separate bathrooms and rooms displaying her wrestling memorabilia.

Trish Stratus is currently preparing for the Island Triathlon Series that will take place in March of 2008.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that WWE has come to an agreement with Bob Sapp.

The deal is for Bob Sapp to appear on WWE house shows in Japan in February of 2008. Bob Sapp has not signed on to make appearances for WWE in the United States of America.

WWE hasn’t been doing as well in Japan (probably because the fans require more from wrestling there than we do) as they used to, so they’re looking for proven acts in Japan to sign.

He’s quite well known over there as he has made appearances on television programs and commercials. Bob Sapp even released a CD in Japan.

Bob Sapp is an MMA fighter who currently wrestles for HUSTLE in Japan. He was negotiating with TNA about joining up with them not too long ago (he likes the company’s shorter schedule).

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Michelle McCool’s black eye from a few weeks ago was legitimate.

She received two black eyes and a broken nose after taking an errant clothesline from Victoria while the Smackdown crew was on their recent European tour.

There were reports that the black eye was created with makeup to start up a storyline where Chuck Palumbo turns heel. Those reports appeared to be true as Chuck Palumbo and Michelle McCool did a backstage segment on Smackdown where he lost his temper and punched a hole in the wall.

Nothing wrong with Chuck Palumbo turning heel, but his career can’t afford a storyline where he’s abusive to women. It’s already enough that he’s gone through several character changes (including the feminine Chuck in Billy & Chuck).

That’s right, Steve Williams has legally changed his to Steve Austin.

Not exactly sure why Steve Austin decided to do this, but we’re assuming that it has something to do with copyrights, trademarks, and other financially motivated reasons.

Steve Austin joins the Ultimate Warrior and Chyna as wrestling personalities who have recently changed their names.
