WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that CM Punk has the most televised wins this year in WWE.
The current ECW Heavyweight Champion had 48 wins this year. Pretty impressive considering there are only 52 weeks in a year.
Second on the list is Jeff Hardy, who had 44 televised victories this year.
For the tag team division, the Highlanders were surprisingly on top of the list with 16 wins. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch had 15 wins.
We’re sure quite a bit of people are shocked to know that the Highlanders had the most wins. They were barely on Monday Night Raw this year. The fact that all it took was 16 televised victories to be on top of the list lets you know how weak the tag team division is.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Jonathan Coachman (aka Coach) will be replacing JBL as the color commentator on Smackdown.
When JBL left the broadcasting table to return to the ring, a void was created.
WWE auditioned several people as a replacement, including Michael Hayes and Tazz.
Michael Hayes is Smackdown’s lead writer. Putting him at the broadcasting table would take away even more time from his writing. There’s already a handful of wrestlers who don’t have storylines on Smackdown.
Tazz would have been a good choice, but that would mean that WWE would have to find a replacement for him on ECW. Management wasn’t too fond of the idea of using Tazz for both shows.
So, for the time being, Jonathan Coachman will fill in next to play by play commentator Michael Cole.
Of course, this could be a temporary thing. Jonathan Coachman already has a role as Vince McMahon’s executive assistant. Plus, he’s stated in the past that he doesn’t want to be a full time commentator. He doesn’t mind filling in.
Can’t say that we disagree with Jonathan Coachman. He’s a gifted talker and his character is well defined.
It’d almost be waste to have him commentating, don’t you think?

Get the WWE Royal Rumble 2006 DVD and see Jonathan Coachman as a participant in the Royal Rumble. In case you’ve forgotten, the 2006 Royal Rumble was the emotional one with Rey Mysterio winning. |

Tammy Sytch No Comments

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that former WWE diva Sunny (real name: Tammy Sytch) recently won the WSU Women’s Championship.
On December 22, 2007, Tammy Sytch defeated Alicia to win the title for the first time in her career. Along with Alicia and Alexa Thatcher, Tammy Sytch becomes the only 3 champions in the short history of the WSU.
Christy Hemme, Missy Hyatt, Daffney (the screamer from WCW), Talia Madison (TNA’s Velvet Sky), Luna Vachon, and Nikki Roxx are amongst the many names that have worked in the WSU.
There were talks earlier of Tammy Sytch attempting to return to WWE after her appearance on the 15th anniversary edition of Monday Night Raw. However, WWE has not yet expressed interest in bringing her back yet.

Lance Cade No Comments

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Lance Cade has suffered an injury at a house show on Friday night.
At a house show in Atlanta, Georgia, Lance Cade suffered a separated left shoulder injury. It’s too soon to tell how severe the injury is, but athletic trainer Chris Brennan has speculated that Lance Cade may be required to miss 4 to 6 weeks.
This shouldn’t really affect Monday Night Raw too much since the tag team division wasn’t an important part of the show.
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch recently lost the World Tag Team Championship to Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly. WWE really didn’t do a feud between the two teams. The main focus was primarily on the relationship between Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly.
If WWE decides to use the tag team division on Monday Night Raw, then they’ll probably just have Santino Marella & Carlito as the top challengers despite the team being extremely new.
It’ll be interesting to see what WWE decides to do with Trevor Murdoch for the time being. Chances are, they’ll probably just keep him off of Monday Night Raw for the next few weeks.
What the writers should really do, though, is to align Trevor Murdoch with JBL for the next few weeks. JBL could use a sidekick, and that role would be better for Trevor Murdoch than for him to just be kept off of TV.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that WWE will be releasing a Randy Savage DVD in 2008.
In what has to be described as quite a shock, WWE has finally decided to do something with Randy Savage. It’s a shock because WWE has refused to even acknowledge his existence for the past few years.
There’s a lot of rumors as to why Vince McMahon hates Randy Savage. Some of the rumors are actually pretty far fetched and ridiculous, but we can’t totally dismiss them because it had to be something huge for Vince McMahon to absolutely cut ties. Other wrestlers have crossed Vince McMahon in the past, but he still does business with them.
It’ll be interesting to see if WWE would do a DVD like the one they did for the Ultimate Warrior. In that DVD, they basically just trashed the Ultimate Warrior.
Hopefully, this will be a respectable DVD because Randy Savage does have a place in wrestling history. The WWE Hall of Fame loses credibility when you have guys like Nikolai Volkov inducted but not Randy Savage, whose contributions to wrestling is far greater.

Sting [3] Comments

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that WWE will be releasing a Sting DVD at the end of 2008.
This bit of news comes with quite a bit of speculation.
First of all, it’s impressive that this is finally being done. Sting is a true legend in wrestling. He absolutely deserves to be honored with a DVD.
The thing that has led a lot of people to speculate over Sting is the fact that he has yet to sign a contract with TNA. He has agreed to a new deal that will keep him in TNA through 2008. This has caused people to assume that WWE will try to sneak in and sign Sting.
However, the chances of Sting signing with WWE is very minimum. He’s got a great deal with TNA in that he’s getting paid six figures for working a few days a month. It’s unlikely that WWE would bring him in and allow him to work a schedule like that. Only Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker have that privilege right now.
The DVD itself should be pretty good. WWE owns the NWA and WCW footages, and that covers most of Sting’s accomplishments. He’s had some great moments in TNA, but WWE can still fill up a DVD with his greatest moments. In fact, if they really wanted to, they could even split the DVD into two parts; his WCW days and his NWA days.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that John Cena’s rehabilitation has been going better than expected.
Stephanie McMahon and Raw head writer Brian Gerwitz are actually planning for his return to be at Wrestlemania. When he was first injured, the initial report was that John Cena would be returning sometime after Wrestlemania.
While it’s still unlikely that he’ll be able to work a match at Wrestlemania, he could still be used in a surprise sneak attack. That or WWE can utilize him as an advertised special appearance.
Once he makes a complete return, John Cena is expected to resume his feud with WWE Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. Nothing is planned right now for a revenge feud against Mr Kennedy. Hopefully, WWE doesn’t just waste that storyline by doing a quick squash match on Monday Night Raw or something.

Batista No Comments

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that there has been another incident between Batista and the fans at a recent house show.
At the house show in Albany, New York, a fan at ringside at apparently upset Batista enough to the point to make him leave the ring. Batista got into the fan’s face and repeated yelled at the fan to punch him. Security was able to break things up.
According to the fan, he was a big fan of Edge, who Batista was facing that night. He had cheered loudly for Edge during his entrance. The fan also give Edge the thumbs up sign. When Batista entered the ring, the fan started jeering him. When the fan gave the thumbs down to Batista, that’s when the incident started.
Granted, it’s hard to fault the wrestlers for letting stuff like this bother them. They’re on the road constantly and have to put up with a lot of crap from bad fans. As fans, we have absolutely no idea how difficult life on the road can be for wrestlers. However, incidents like these need to be handled a lot better.
The wrestlers today should be glad that wrestling audiences have toned down over the years.
During the 1980s, the fans were absolutely crazy. The Four Horsemen once took 30 minutes to leave ringside because of the rowdy fans that hated their characters. Another old school wrestler once had to leave the arena hidden inside of an ambulance because the fans were out to get him.

WWE has released a couple of brand new tapestries.
Don’t feel bad. We didn’t know what a “tapestry” was either. Apparently, you can use it as a blanket or you can hang it up on the wall for decorations. C’mon, guys. We’re wrestling fans. Just use the term “decorative blankets”. Keep it simple.
Anyways, they made 2 so far, but if these sell well, then they’ll probably make some for other stars like Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, the Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, and others.

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Torrie Wilson’s back injury has gotten worse.
“On the health front, my back problems don’t seem to be getting any better and I am actually starting to feel worse believe it or not!”
- Torrie Wilson
Torrie Wilson also states that she has never been injured like this before in her life She hates not being active, so she will seek a different type of treatment for he back.
WWE can afford to have her take time off right now because Smackdown has a solid group of divas. Michelle McCool has shown improvement over the last few weeks. Kelly Kelly has been utilized more often. Plus, Ashley Massaro is expected back soon.
