WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that JBL will be producing and marketing a brand new energy drink.
JBL has partnered up with Baywood International, Inc. to produce the energy drink. The two parties have created Layfield Energy and hope to have the product in retail stores and online by January of 2008.
“I know how to make a big splash and, believe me, we will make a huge one. I have endorsed several products over the years, and now I am truly thrilled about being involved with my own project. I am not only going to be endorsing the product, but I will be running the company full time with the great management at Baywood. I believe in my marketing team and I believe in the product and, together, this will be a great ride.”

JBL has a close personal relationship with Vince McMahon, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see WWE doing some marketing for the new drink. Of course, WWE also has their own energy drink on the market called Socko Energy, so it’ll be interesting if they do market JBL’s new drink or not.

Not to be too picky or an ass… But WWE’s drink is called “RAW Energy Drink” and it has a little label on it that says “powered by Socko.” For those wondering it is sold “exclusively” at Wal-Mart.
