Dolph Ziggler
A little buzz was created this week when Dolph Ziggler defeated Randy Orton in the main event of a WWE live event. A lot of fans believed that this would be the start of a push for the former world heavyweight champion. However, that does not appear to be the case. Ziggler was simply substituting for Roman Reigns, who was on another tour. WWE usually lets the baby face win the final match of the night to send the live audience home happy.
August 11, 2014
Dean Ambrose
On Monday Night Raw, fans saw Rob Van Dam being pulled from a Beat the Clock match against Seth Rollins. He was replaced by Heath Slater, who got the surprising win, thanks to distractions from Dean Ambrose. It turns out that WWE did that because RVD is actually not cleared to wrestle. He is still recovering from an unknown injury. For what it's worth, it appears that he might be fine soon, as the former world heavyweight champion is scheduled to head to Australia for the tour.
August 6, 2014
Bray Wyatt
Since his feud with John Cena cannot go on forever, fans have naturally wondered who WWE was going to have Bray Wyatt feuding against next. There hasn't been any clear indications on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown as to who he will transition into a program with, but rumors are floating around right now that it could be Sheamus. The two of them are scheduled to work against one another on an upcoming tour of Australia, so that could be what WWE has in mind.
June 20, 2014
Sheamus
Over the last couple of weeks, WWE fans have witnessed Wade Barrett winning the Intercontinental Championship and Sheamus winning the United States Heavyweight Championship. A big reason why WWE went that route is because of the upcoming tour of Europe, as both performers are still quite popular on that continent.
May 10, 2014
Daniel Bryan
Back in February, there were talks backstage of doing a heel turn with Sheamus, in order to bring some life back to his stale character. Those rumors are heating up again, as WWE really wants another top level heel challenger for Daniel Bryan. The belief is that Sheamus will be doing his heel turn after the company comes back from their tour of Europe next month.
May 3, 2014
AJ Lee
After dropping the belt to Paige the night after Wrestlemania 30, AJ Lee was given some time off, presumably to rest up and move to Chicago to be with boyfriend, former WWE star CM Punk. Rumors are floating around that AJ will be returning to the company in May, as she has been advertised for the European tour. She is also advertised for events in June.
April 23, 2014
Christopher Daniels
While the sides have been unable to come to terms on contract extensions, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian are said to be leaving TNA on good terms. The door has been left open for a possible return down the line. For now, however, Bad Influence is taking their act elsewhere. The belief is that Daniels and Kazarian are going to do a quick tour of Japan.
April 20, 2014
Big Show
Even though he was not booked for Elimination Chamber 2014, Big Show is still very much in contention for a coveted match at Wrestlemania 30. Right now, WWE simply had nothing for him from the creative department. Plus, he replaced the Great Khali on an overseas promotional tour of India. He should be back on television soon.
February 24, 2014
Bo Dallas
It was discovered earlier in the month that CM Punk was a big supporter of Bo Dallas and that he was the one that was trying to convince WWE to bring him back up from developmental to the main roster. With Punk gone, some are speculating that management is no longer viewing Dallas as a priority on the call up list. He was not utilized on the latest tour.
February 18, 2014
Dixie Carter

After TNA Lockdown 2014, Seiya Sanada is sticking around and working a couple of episodes of Impact Wrestling. The belief is that Dixie Carter and company will be giving him a nice push, as management wants to maintain a good business relationship with the Great Muta and Wrestle-1. They also want to entice other Japanese stars to come tour with them.

February 12, 2014
Davey Richards
There were initially plans to have Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards winning the TNA tag team championship while the company was on their European tour, but management opted to hold off on that, as they felt that it might be too soon for the fans to accept hem as title holders. They should still be in line for the belts in the coming months.
February 9, 2014
Samoa Joe
While he was in the dog house with management for quite some time, it now appears that Samoa Joe has turned things around and has actually taken on a leadership role within TNA. He gave the other performers quite a speech during the European tour.
February 6, 2014
AJ Styles
While the possibility of a return is still there, there has been no negotiations between AJ Styles and Dixie Carter as of late, since the latter has been focused on the European tour and the signings of MVP, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards over the last few weeks.
February 6, 2014
Eric Young

John Gaburick, the former WWE executive who now has a lead role in TNA, reportedly has some backstage heat with Eric Young during one of the television tapings on the European tour. The two were arguing over the longevity of a spot filmed for Impact Wrestling.

February 4, 2014
Kurt Angle

In a bit of news that will be troublesome to fans who are concerned with his health, Kurt Angle has postponed surgery on his knees. He was initially supposed to go under the knife in January, but pushed that back to work the European tour with TNA, and there's talks that he might postpost it even further than that.

February 3, 2014
Shanna

Another potential Knockout being signed by TNA is Shanna, an international star who has wrestled frequently for SHINE. She will be working live events with the company during their current tour of Europe. Depending on how well she performs, a contract could be offered.

January 28, 2014
Aksana

For a while there, Aksana had some backstage heat on her in WWE because of her performances during the European tour. However, a lot of that heat has died down tremendously, as she has slowly received more television time. Aksana is also a candidate to join Total Divas next season.

January 25, 2014
Alexander Rusev

It looks like Alexander Rusev is extremely close to being called up by WWE. The developmental wrestler is once again on tour with the main roster this weekend, where he is working matches early on the card against veteran performer Zack Ryder.

January 25, 2014
Davey Richards

Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards made their TNA debut on Impact Wrestling last week, and word coming from backstage is that each of them has been signed to a one year contract. The former ROH stars are expected to travel with the company for a tour of England soon.

January 20, 2014
Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle has long stated that he wants to explore his options when his latest contract with TNA expires, and it looks like he's really sticking to his words. The company has announced a big tour of England in 2015, and Angle has not been promoted. The belief is that the company does not want to put themselves in a position where they have to offer refunds because a big star is not there.
August 14, 2014
Sheamus
After taking a little bit of time off the road and in Europe, Sheamus is now back with WWE. While he was not utilized on Monday Night Raw, he did work a match at the taping for WWE Superstars. The former world heavyweight champion was also kept off of Smackdown as well. Sheamus is currently on the tour of Australia with the rest of the WWE crew and should be back on television soon.
August 7, 2014
Hulk Hogan
Since they're paying him a tremendous amount of money, Hulk Hogan has been traveling the globe for WWE. After being the unofficial featured attraction in Japan, the former world heavyweight champion has headed down to Mexico to do some promotion work for the company. WWE is doing a tour of the country soon, and they're hoping that Hogan can help spike interest much like he did in Japan.
July 22, 2014
Hulk Hogan
To get an idea of why WWE pays Hulk Hogan so much money even though he can no longer be an in ring performer, simply look at how he was treated during the recent tour of Japan. Media and fans in that country treated the Hogan return as a much bigger thing that the actual WWE live events. Hogan's involvement alone helped to generate better numbers for WWE in Japan than they have been receiving over the last couple of years.
July 17, 2014
Vince McMahon
In a sign of how tight money is becoming in WWE, Vince McMahon has decided to take away the tour bus that the production crew used to travel in. This has reportedly upset several of the workers, as they were able to sleep while being transported to the next city to set up the arena. Now, they're being forced to drive themselves, which means that they are receiving very little sleep.
July 16, 2014
Hulk Hogan
With the company in Japan for a tour, WWE stars were in for a bit of a rude awakening this weekend. A 6.8 earthquake struck the island country. Several of the stars made note of the incident through their social media website. Hulk Hogan revealed that his bed had moved around the hotel room. Fortunately, though, this particular earthquake did not produce devastating tsunamis like the last one.
July 12, 2014
Bray Wyatt
Tour dates for Fozzy have now been finalized and announced. The band starts touring heavily in September, which means that Chris Jericho will be leaving around that time period. The former undisputed champion currently is scheduled to work WWE events during the month of September, but he has nothing listed afterwards. The belief is that Jericho is simply here to put over Bray Wyatt.
July 9, 2014
Ric Flair
While his television return has yet to be finalized, Ric Flair will be heading to Australia with WWE when the company does their tour of that country in August. Since that is just approximately a month away, many are expected the former world heavyweight champion to be reintroduced on television to help with the marketing of the events taking place in Australia.
July 3, 2014
Chris Jericho
There is a bit of misinformation on Chris Jericho right now as a couple of wrestling websites have reported that he will be touring with Fozzy while also working for WWE. That is not the case. The band only has two appearances booked in the next three months. The event in Hollywood, which was supposed to also feature Traci Guns, has been canceled. There is no tour.
July 2, 2014
Chris Jericho
Now that he has made his return to WWE, Chris Jericho is being added to several of the upcoming shows. July 1, 2014
Kenta Kobayashi
Next month, WWE is heading over to Japan for a quick tour, and local media has been announcing that the company will hold a press conference to reveal that they have signed Kenta Kobayashi to a contract. WWE has been wanting to increase their presence in the country, and they can greatly improve their chances of doing that by bringing on board one of the more known performers in Japan.
June 28, 2014
Curt Hawkins
JTG and Shad Gaspard are not the only former WWE tag team doing a reunion. Word going around is that Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks are looking into doing a tour of the independent wrestling circuit together. Reks has not been all that active since leaving WWE to start his own business. The two of them should have enough name value to pick up bookings.
June 26, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
In an interesting move, WWE has decided to add Paul Heyman to the upcoming tour of Japan. He will be working three live events in the country, most likely serving as the manager for Antonio Cesaro. The move is a bit interesting because the Japanese fans really are more into the in ring performances than the microphone work, which is basically what Heyman's best asset is.
June 18, 2014
Emma
One of the reasons why Santino Marella worked a segment with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter on Monday Night Raw this week was because Emma was overseas. WWE sent the diva to her home country of Australia to do some promotional work for an upcoming tour. Management really does not have a long term plan for Santino and Emma, but they like utilizing the two of them on television together.
June 11, 2014
Jeremy Borash
While doing a promotional tour of England, Jeremy Borash stated that he would move Impact Wrestling to the United Kingdom if he were in charge of TNA. He feels that the production value in the country is superior to that of the United States, and the announcer also believes that the company could benefit greatly from the passionate fan base there.
June 5, 2014
John Cena
It looks like WWE wants to promote Roman Reigns as a top star during the upcoming tour of Japan. Management is booking him in singles matches against Kane, a performer that Japanese fans are aware of. Reigns will more than likely be going over in those bouts. WWE is also booking Reigns for a tag team match with John Cena during the tour as well, which should give him a little more credibility with the overseas fans.

Adam Rose

May 27, 2014

May 26, 2014
Damien Sandow
As a sign of how much the company values his overseas appeal, Sami Zayn was brought on the tour of Europe with the main roster. The developmental wrestler worked matches with Damien Sandow and was actually given the win. Zayn is starting to become a regular on these overseas tour, so it would not be a stretch to see WWE promoting him to Monday Night Raw soon.

Rumors have surfaced that he is quite upset with the company in regards to his contract situation. Reports are now surfacing that Mysterio had a handshake agreement with Triple H that would have enabled him to walk away from the company. However, Vince McMahon reportedly decided to overrule that and force to remain under contract to WWE for another year.
August 20, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
Since neither man was involved in a feud, it looks like WWE is about to pair Antonio Cesaro and Sheamus in a feud for the United States Heavyweight Championship. The story between the two might have been initiated during WWE Main Event. Management has been known to drop stories abruptly, so if this does not make it to Monday Night Raw or Smackdown, then the feud is not going forward.
August 20, 2014
Alexander Rusev
There was a little bit of confusion on Monday Night Raw. Fans were led to believe that Big Show and Mark Henry were forming a team, especially after they were given a victory over Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Later on in the evening, Henry came out and started what looked like a feud with Alexander Rusev. The reason for all this is because WWE was not sure what they wanted to do, and the scripts overlapped. The decision to do a feud between Henry and Rusev was a last minute thing.
August 20, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
Everyone in the industry now knows that Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio made appearances for AAA at the TripleMania pay per view. The belief is that WWE will be pursuing legal actions against the promotion, as management has been very quiet backstage about the incident. That has led many to believe that lawyers have advised them not to discuss the situation.
August 19, 2014
Brock Lesnar
It will be interesting to see how WWE handles the promotion of the world heavyweight championship over the next few weeks. Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to be back on television for approximately a month. John Cena, who is returning next week, is expected to get his rematch story line. Paul Heyman is great at what he does, but management will be curious to see how the audience reacts to a missing champion.
August 19, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
A lot of eyes in the industry are on Alberto Del Rio right now, as many want to see if he will pursue a lawsuit against WWE. The company has reportedly banned him from working in the United States for a year. Back when Brock Lesnar filed a similar lawsuit, the judge was very close to ruling in his favor. Both sides agreed to a settlement instead. If Del Rio were to file the lawsuit and win the case, then that changes things in the industry quite a bit.
August 19, 2014
Batista
Earlier this week, Batista revealed that he was willing to work with Titus ONeil because he wanted to help his friend become a star in WWE. As of right now, management does not appear interested in the idea. While they do want to appease Batista since he is building his name in Hollywood, they seem more interested in using him against other big name performers instead.
August 19, 2014
Vince Russo
Rumors are now floating around that one of the reasons why TNA parted ways with Vince Russo is due to the fact that he interviewed Daffney on his podcast show. There is said to be a good amount of backstage heat towards her because of the lawsuit that she filed against the company a couple of years back. Russo being involved with her is something that reportedly annoyed management.
August 19, 2014
Batista
Since Batista is now openly talking about what retirement match he would like to do, the belief within the industry is that they would not be shocked if he were to leave WWE in the near future. The success of Guardians of the Galaxy and the signing of the sequel basically ensures that Batista will be involved with the Marvel Universe, which is really thriving now, for the next several years.
August 19, 2014
Bully Ray
While it appears that Bully Ray is on his way out of TNA once his contract expires in a few days, his tag team partner isn't going anywhere. Devon is reportedly under contract with the company until next year. As of this point, it is unclear what management will do if they are unable to come to terms on a new deal with Bully. Both sides are reportedly still in negotiations.
August 19, 2014
Dean Ambrose
For those wondering about the final segment of Monday Night Raw this week, it was designed to write Dean Ambrose off of television. There were speculations that he was going to need time off to film a movie for WWE Studios, but the initial belief was that he would not need to miss television time. It now appears that the company is just going to take him off the road, so he can focus on filming.
August 19, 2014
Bray Wyatt
It looks like the feud between Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt will be continuing for another month. As of right now, WWE has the two of them penciled in for some sort of gimmick match at Night of Champions 2014. Each man has a victory on pay per view against the other, but the belief is that Jericho will be putting Wyatt over before taking off to focus on his music again.
August 19, 2014
AJ Lee
Rumors are floating around right now that AJ Lee is going to be leaving WWE very soon. Those speculations were further flamed last night when she dropped the Divas Championship to Paige at Summerslam 2014. The root of the rumors stems from a comment that Jim Ross made on his blog. It was just something that the long time commentator was speculating upon.
August 18, 2014
Rob Van Dam
Reports going around state that Rob Van Dam finished up his latest stint with WWE during the kickoff match at Summerslam 2014. His departure from the company had been expected since he only agreed to a short term contract. Some are under the belief that this might be the last stint for RVD since the audience has been a bit lackluster towards him this time around.
August 18, 2014
Bo Dallas
While management has seemingly given up on the Bo Dallas push, they do not appear to be in a rush to give him a release just yet. The belief is that WWE will keep him around for the time being and utilize him as a roster filler. Dallas is considered a good employee who shows up to work and does not cause trouble backstage. Another push seems to be out of the question, though.
August 18, 2014
Brock Lesnar
When Brock Lesnar interrupted the birthday celebration for Hulk Hogan on Monday Night Raw last week, he went off script a bit. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion said, "Party's over, grandpa." That was not a line fed to him by the WWE creative department. Reports are surfacing that Lesnar took that jab on his own or had help from Paul Heyman in coming up with that line.
August 18, 2014
Kurt Angle
There are rumors floating around right now that Vince McMahon is not interested in seeing Kurt Angle making a return to WWE. However, that appears to just be speculation. While management has been trying to cut back on spending, the belief is that they would open the check book for Angle since he is a superb performer who can draw in a good amount of fans.
August 18, 2014
Santino Marella
Feeling like he did not want to be forced out of the ring, Santino Marella is already working on making a comeback. The belief is that WWE wants that return to happen in their ring. The company still believes Marella to be an asset, as evident by the fact that they gave him a new three year contract a couple of months ago. No time frame has been given for the Marella return yet.
August 18, 2014
Brock Lesnar
Reports are surfacing that there is some backstage heat between Vince McMahon and Triple H at the moment over the main event of Wrestlemania 31. McMahon wants Brock Lesnar to defend the title against the Rock, as he feels that those two guys would produce the biggest draw of a match for WWE. HHH, however, wants the company to elevate Roman Reigns by having him challenge Lesnar.
August 18, 2014
Bully Ray
Rumors are floating around right now that Bully Ray has informed the TNA locker room that he will be leaving the company. That comes as a shock because the former world heavyweight champion had been gaining a bit of power backstage. His contract expires in September, and negotiations are said to be ongoing. The company has been locking up a handful of wrestlers over the last few weeks, so it's not impossible for them to work out another contract with Bully.
August 17, 2014
