Madsen must feel that the door on a return has been closed, as he has decided to unleash his bitterness towards the company. He has been taking jabs at Billy Gunn and Bill DeMott online.

Reports are floating around that Kurt Angle has signed a new contract with TNA that will enable him to work part time and focus on building up his career in Hollywood. The former Olympic gold medalist attempted to get a part time deal with WWE, but the company insisted that he sign a full time deal, which Angle did not want because he was worried about the effects it would have on his body.

While the backstage heat between the two sides remains at a pretty high level, it does not appear that WWE will be giving a release to Rey Mysterio any time soon. Management has started to accept that the former world heavyweight champion will not be returning to work anytime soon, but they will not let him out of his contract to help another promotion out. WWE would rather just keep him on the sidelines for the time being, especially since Mysterio has reportedly stopped cashing in their checks.

There are speculations floating around that Triple H only made that offer because he knew that Angle would reject it. The belief backstage in WWE is that Road Dogg is going to be winding down his days as an active in ring performer now that Wrestlemania 30 is over and done with. His tag team partner Billy Gunn suffered an injury during the big six man tag team match at the pay per view, so management is contemplating a scenario where they are written off of television.

At Wrestlemania 30, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns completely destroyed Kane, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn in a six man tag team match. The Shield captured the win over the Authority with a triple power bomb on both members of the New Age Outlaws at the same time. That led to an easy pin fall victory for the Shield at Wrestlemania.
