Thus far, there has been very little negative things being said about Matt Bloom since he has taken over at the head trainer in NXT. While some of that might be because a lot of people disliked Bill DeMott and his ways, the main reason is that Bloom is simply doing a good job. Word coming out of the company is that he is firm but fair with the developmental wrestlers. He also has a good degree of knowing about working in the ring.

We are now one step closer to finding a new performer for WWE. The company has officially announced that they have begun accepting video auditions for the upcoming season of Tough Enough. This is usually where hopefuls send in a quick promo and show off their physique to the front office. Management still needs to find a host for the show since Steve Austin is at odds with the company and Bill DeMott has resigned due to bullying allegations.

Everyone knows that Bill DeMott will not be the coach on Tough Enough next season. Steve Austin has refused to have any involvement with WWE at the moment. The show is definitely going to take place, so a coach will be needed. Through social media, Goldust has expressed a desire to fill that role. He is said to be transitioning from an in ring career to that of a trainer very soon, so this would be quite fitting for both sides.

During a radio interview with At The Fights, Jim Ross shared his feelings towards Bill DeMott. The former stated that the latter was a fair man and a tough guy. However, Ross also stated that DeMott might not have been the right person for the job. WWE needed someone who could see the bigger picture better than DeMott, whom Ross stated would have been great as an assistant trainer. Ross also noted that DeMott was politically incorrect.

When WWE announced that they were doing another season of Tough Enough, a lot of fans were excited until they heard that Steve Austin was not initially scheduled to be a part of the show. His stock and price demand have increased tremendously since having his own successful television shows. Now that Bill DeMott as resigned as the head trainer for the company, word has it that Austin now has a ton of leverage against management in a negotiation.

In the past, they were able to showcase the intensity and roughness of DeMott as a trainer, but since he is being accused of being a bully by several former developmental wrestlers, management is understandably hesitant to put that on display on national television.

Another person that responded to Chris Jericho defending Bill DeMott from allegations of abuse is Joey Ryan, who has been quite vocal about his disgust with the lead developmental trainer. Ryan said that he does not think that Jericho is condoning the actions of DeMott, but he does feel that a response from Jericho shows that a lot of the allegations are true. Ryan tried out for WWE a while back and felt he was not given a chance.

It is being said that management is leaning towards using Bill DeMott and the other trainers as the host of the show. There are speculations that the move by the company is being done for financial reasons.

Since a lot of people in the company are really attached to the idea, there was some enthusiasm backstage when WWE announced that they are doing another season of Tough Enough. One of the things being overlooked right now is the fact that Steve Austin has not been officially attached to the show yet. His presence was a major reason why the previous season was a hit with the fans. As of right now, Bill DeMott is the only name attached.
