Many within the industry are now questioning the decision by WWE to not let Damien Sandow win the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania, especially now that it doesn't appear that they're doing anything special with Big Show. The belief is that Sandow would have had a ton of momentum going into his feud with Miz, and that would have brought even more attention from an audience that is already interested.

In a match that was better scripted than the Royal Rumble, Big Show won the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal in the second and final match of the Wrestlemania kickoff show. Lots of excellent spots. Damien Sandow finally turned on Miz, but he was unable to overcome the Big Show to win the entire thing. Sandow was booked strong, but the audience was clearly disappointed when he was the last man eliminated.

A couple of fans that have been attending Wrestlemania related events this week have noticed a familiar face. Linda McMahon is in town for the big pay per view. She was spotted hanging out and catching up with the Big Show. Linda also posted a couple of photos on social media. It is highly unlikely that she makes an appearance during the show on Sunday. For what it's worth, there are still no signs of Shane McMahon this week.

As an effort to generate some last minute excitement for Wrestlemania, WWE has decided to put their top stars into a big tag team match. In the main event of Smackdown this week, John Cena will team up with Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns and Mark Henry to take on Bray Wyatt, Big Show, Seth Rollins and Kane. The match could just end up in a big brawl at the end, so that they can promote the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal.

On Monday, WWE revealed that Kevin Owens had to undergo knee surgery. More details have now been revealed. A partial meniscectomy was performed. Management will have to figure something out because they have a big show in San Jose that weekend.

Wrestlemania is less than a month away, and WWE still has not figured out how they are going to use two performers who will eventually be inducted into the hall of fame some day. Kane and Big Show are without a match at this point in time. They were initially penciled in for some sort of tag team match against Dolph Ziggler and Ryback. However, Ziggler has already been added to the Intercontinental Championship ladder match.

One of the problems that WWE will have if they decide to go with Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar in the main event of Wrestlemania is that they will need to figure out plans for Roman Reigns. Management wants him to come out looking strong, so he will pick up a win over someone. Beating Kane or Big Show will not do much for his momentum. A potential opponent could be Rusev, but he would need to get past John Cena.

In case you're wondering why the two of them have formed a tag team, Dolph Ziggler and Ryback are now penciled in for a match against Kane and Big Show at Wrestlemania. The constantly changing plans for the pay per view has removed Ziggler from a potential mat classic with Daniel Bryan, who is being eyed for the main event with Brock Lesnar. The Little Guy and the Big Guy will not be a permanent part of the tag team division, though.
