Barrett replaces Miz

Originally, the plan by WWE was to have Miz team up with Stardust to take on Stephen Amell and Adrian Neville. However, management had to change up those plans when Ryback was injured and the feud including Big Show was stalled. A replacement was needed, so they decided on Wade Barrett, who really did not have an important program to work, despite being King of the Ring.

Big Show turning face

In a rather odd move, Big Show acted very much like a baby face at a live event in Vancouver over the weekend. It makes sense for him to do that against Miz, as they are working a three way feud with Ryback. However, Show went the distance by helping Jimmy Uso to the backstage area. Generally, a heel would just leave the attacked baby face in the ring.

Big Show breaks nose

During a recent podcast interview with Chris Jericho, Big Show revealed that he instructed Floyd Mayweather to purposely break his nose during their feud. The former world heavyweight champion wanted to do that because he felt that the audience would not buy the size difference unless they made it look like the boxer's punching power was super human.

Andre the Giant trophy

There are those in WWE that are already second guessing the decision to have Big Show winning the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania. He has not exactly done much with the trophy since then. His feud with Roman Reigns would have worked out just fine without the thing being involved. Rumors have it that a main source of discontent about the situation is that it would have better served someone like Damien Sandow.

Roman Reigns vs Kane

Due mainly to the negative response from fans, WWE has been forced to keep Roman Reigns away from the top spot. That is the reason why he is stuck in a feud with the Big Show at the moment. At one point in time, management had plans for Reigns to work a stall program with Kane. That feud is most likely to happen if they change their minds about having Reigns work a triple threat title match with Seth Rollins and Randy Orton at Payback.

Damien Sandow winning

Many within the industry are now questioning the decision by WWE to not let Damien Sandow win the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania, especially now that it doesn't appear that they're doing anything special with Big Show. The belief is that Sandow would have had a ton of momentum going into his feud with Miz, and that would have brought even more attention from an audience that is already interested.

Roman Reigns eliminates Big Show

Even if he is not the one to win the big battle royal, WWE still has plans on using the Royal Rumble as a platform to elevate Roman Reigns even higher. One of the ideas being discussed right now and a big reason why he was thrown into a feud with the Big Show is that Reigns will be the one to eliminate his rival by doing something that is a spectacular feat of physical prowess. The hope is that the segment will win over even more fans for Reigns.

Erick Rowan push

As soon as WWE split up the Wyatt Family, the widespread belief was that they wanted to give Erick Rowan and Luke Harper a push that was outside of the outstretched shadows of Bray Wyatt. It now looks like Rowan might be the first one of the trio to lose that push, as management is said to be a bit concerned about how lackluster the audience has react to his new character. The feud with Big Show did very little to add momentum to Rowan.
