On Tuesday, Big E Langston and Jack Swagger worked a match at the Smackdown taping. However, WWE opted to remove that from the broadcast on Friday night. Some are saying that the match came off horribly, while others are saying that management might simply be saving that for Monday Night Raw since it has a bigger audience.

Rotunda's job is to script out the matches and segments for the wrestlers.

Hulk Hogan
Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Hulk Hogan had been booked to work the Smackdown taping in London next month. Word going around is that the company convinced the former world champion to work the show because WWE has struggled to fill the arenas when they do back to back shows. Undertaker was utilized as a draw last year to help with the problem.

One of the ideas being tossed around right now backstage in WWE is to have Hornswoggle and El Torito wrestling one another on a pretty frequent basis. The two of them will be featured on Smackdown this week, and there could be more matches coming up. WWE had the two of them training together for a couple of weeks to ensure that the match quality is decent.

While he is not quite a full time performer for the company, Rob Van Dam has opted to head to Europe with WWE for a tour in May. There will be an episode of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown taped in London during this stretch, so most of the performers in WWE will be on hand for the tour. Rumors have it that RVD will be sticking around for a couple of months like last time.
