Matt Hardy
Rumors are floating around that Matt Hardy is leaving ROH very soon. His contract is set to expire, and the belief is that neither side is interested in signing an extension. Ring of Honor officials are said to be upset with Hardy for working a couple of episodes of Impact Wrestling for TNA recently. There are also rumors that Hardy is headed back to TNA on a more permanent basis.
July 12, 2014
Austin Aries
For those that missed Impact Wrestling this week, Austin Aries defeated Seiya Sanada to capture the TNA X Division Championship. Since the match was taped before Sanada had a chance to sign a new contract with TNA, the belief is that his potential departure was one of the reasons behind the title switch. Aries also announced that he would be cashing in the belt to get a shot at the world heavyweight champion at Destination X.
July 11, 2014
Dixie Carter
You can expect to see more of Seiya Sanada on Impact Wrestling over the next few months. The former TNA X Division Champion has decided to sign another contract with Dixie Carter that will ensure that he remains in the United States until at least the end of the year. Sanada also has a deal with the Great Muta, so he will be venturing back overseas for tours with Wrestle-1 as well. The rumored deal has been finalized.
July 7, 2014
Angelina Love
For those that missed Impact Wrestling this week, Gail Kim is the new TNA Knockouts Champion after defeating Angelina Love in a match. Rumors are floating around that the company made the title switch because they want to use the belt to enhance an upcoming program between Gail and the returning Taryn Terrell. Some feel that this will lead to TNA giving the belt to Taryn before the end of the year.
July 4, 2014
Tommy Dreamer
Those of you that watch Impact Wrestling on a regular basis already know that Tommy Dreamer has returned as a character. However, do not expect to see him sticking around on TNA television for too long. His character is expected to be written off very soon. Dreamer, however, will continue to work for the company as a front office official.
July 3, 2014
Dixie Carter
For a short period of time there, Tommy Dreamer and Dixie Carter worked online wrestling fans into believing that there was real backstage heat between the two. That led many to wonder if Dreamer was still going to be working for TNA. At the recent Impact Wrestling taping, Dreamer continued to work as a backstage agent for the company. The belief is that he will remain in that role for the foreseeable future.
June 29, 2014
Matt Hardy
On the independent wrestling circuit, Matt Hardy requires a $1500 paycheck for each appearance. The promoter also has to pay for his hotel and airfare. Plus, Reby Sky gets an additional $300 for appearing as well. Since TNA really wanted Hardy to help boost interest in the latest series of Impact Wrestling episodes, the company opted to pay him twice his asking price.
June 29, 2014
Kurt Angle
On Impact Wrestling this week, Kurt Angle was revealed as the new Director of Wrestling Operations for TNA. The move was designed to keep the former world heavyweight champion on television and relevant while he recovers from his injuries. Since Angle still has a high name value in the industry, his presence really helps TNA with their marketing efforts.
June 27, 2014
Dixie Carter
Much has been made online by fans about TNA not being able to draw in big crowds for their live events. The recent Impact Wrestling shows in Bethlehem, however, managed to draw in more than 1000 fans each night. Dixie Carter and company are said to be quite pleased with the results and want to return to the area more frequently. However, the company is pretty much booked up until the fall.
June 27, 2014
Ethan Carter
Things did not go exactly as planned for Ethan Carter on Impact Wrestling last night. The TNA star was busted open by an errant shot from a trash can. Carter was taken to a New York City hospital, so that doctors could give him a dozen staples to close the wound. The belief is that he will not be missing any of the upcoming episodes, but he might just be used in segments instead.
June 27, 2014
Josh Mathews
Yesterday, Josh Mathews received his release from WWE, losing his dream job because the company needed to save money. The announcer decided that he was not going to just sit around and mope. Instead, Mathews is backstage at the Impact Wrestling taping, which is taking place in New York City. The belief is that he is gauging to see if there is any interest from TNA in signing him to a contract.
June 26, 2014
Gene Snitsky
A familiar face is expected to show up on Impact Wrestling soon. Rumors are going around that Gene Snitsky has signed a contract with TNA. Aside from an imposing stature, he also brings with him a little name value, thanks to his memorable stint in WWE. No word yet on how long the deal is supposed to be, so there is a chance that his appearance might be temporary.
June 26, 2014
Bobby Lashley
After being given some time off of television, where his character was serving a story line suspension, Bobby Roode made his much anticipated return to Impact Wrestling this week. The former TNA champion came back to save Eric Young, who had just lost the world title, from an attack by MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley. Roode received a warm reception from the audience.
June 19, 2014
Bobby Lashley
In a surprising move, Bobby Lashley walks away from Impact Wrestling this week as the next world heavyweight champion in TNA. He was given a title shot against Eric Young, who defended the belt earlier in the night against Kenny King. With the odds stacked against him, Young put on a good effort, but in the end, Lashley proved to be too much. A spear and a pin ended the match.
June 19, 2014
Jeff Hardy
Since the company is hoping to generate some buzz, TNA has announced that Matt Hardy will be making his return to Impact Wrestling to team up with his brother, Jeff Hardy. The duo will forever be remembered as one of the most popular tandems in professional wrestling history, and they still have a good amount of people interested in them.
June 16, 2014
Brutus Magnus
There's a pretty long list of wrestlers who have gotten into acting over the years. You can add Brutus Magnus to that group, as the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion has been seeking out opportunities in Hollywood as of late. With his look and weekly exposure on Impact Wrestling, he has a bit of an edge over new actors in the industry.
June 12, 2014
Angelina Love
One of the reasons why TNA decided to put Angelina Love and Velvet Sky back together again was because they have been consistently able to draw in strong numbers for Impact Wrestling. This past episode, however, drew really low numbers. While some may be jumping to conclusions, it is being said that TNA officials are simply chalking it up as an anomaly.
June 12, 2014
Jim Ross
Since there has not been an official announcement made, a lot of wrestling fans are under the assumption that Spike TV will be dropping TNA and Impact Wrestling this year. However, during a recent interview, Jim Ross revealed that his industry sources have confirmed to him that a deal was imminent and the two sides will come to an agreement on a new television contract soon.
June 11, 2014
Bully Ray
An interesting situation took place at the House of Hardcore show in New York tonight. Tommy Dreamer bashed Dixie Carter for pulling Bully Ray from his show at the last minute. He stated that the TNA president pulled Bully to appear on a promotional event for Impact Wrestling. Dreamer has a working relationship with Carter, so there are rumors that this was simply a story line to generate interest in both promotions.
June 6, 2014
Jeremy Borash
While doing a promotional tour of England, Jeremy Borash stated that he would move Impact Wrestling to the United Kingdom if he were in charge of TNA. He feels that the production value in the country is superior to that of the United States, and the announcer also believes that the company could benefit greatly from the passionate fan base there.
June 5, 2014
R Truth
Xavier Woods formed a stable with Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston on Monday Night Raw this week, and that has led WWE fans to speculate online about other potential members. R Truth has long been rumored to be joining the group, as he had an on screen partnership with Woods in the past. There is also a chance that WWE may simply opt to keep it a three man stable.
July 22, 2014
Curtis Axel
On Monday Night Raw this week, Xavier Woods, who is only used sporadically on television by WWE, made a surprising appearance after a tag team match featuring Curtis Axel, Ryback, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. He cut a quick promo about how Kingston and Langston cannot get very far in WWE by being nice guys. This is the start of the long rumored stable, which has already been compared to the Nation of Domination by fans online.
July 22, 2014
Jey Uso
While rumors of a Nation of Domination stable are still floating around, there are also talks that WWE could simply be building up Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston as a tag team because they need a baby face fodder for Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Management is seriously considering putting the tag titles on the Wyatt Family, and they're going to need more than Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso as challengers.
July 14, 2014
Kofi Kingston
Rumors about a new Nation of Domination should be heating up again today after results from a WWE live event in Japan has hit the internet. Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston worked together as a tag team during the show in Tokyo. The tandom went up against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. The widespread speculation is that R Truth and Xavier Woods will be joining Langston and Kingston soon to form the new group.
July 10, 2014
Bobby Lashley
Last month, rumors were finally squashed about WWE bringing back the Nation of Domination stable with R Truth, Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. Speculations have started back up again now that WWE has formed an on screen alliance between Kingston and Langston. Management reportedly canceled the plans previously because they did not want to make it seem like they were copying TNA, which recently launched a stable with MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley.
July 8, 2014
Alexander Rusev
In a rematch at Money in the Bank 2014, Alexander Rusev was successfully able to conquer Big E Langston again with his submission move. It was the typical match that you would expect from the two. There was a botched spot where Langston speared Rusev to the outside of the ring. However, the two of them more than made up for that by doing a great closing sequence.
June 29, 2014
John Cena
Over the last several months, the Usos have been given more of the spotlight. While some of that is due to the Total Divas connection, the main source of their push is due to Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso being backed by John Cena. The trio has grown close backstage. Cena doesn't often use his stroke with management, but he has encouraged management to push guys like Antonio Cesaro and Big E Langston before.
June 27, 2014
Big E Langston
There were rumors a couple of weeks ago that WWE was going to bring back the Nation of Domination stable as a vehicle for Big E Langston, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and R Truth to have something to do. However, it now appears that management has opted against that. Some believe that WWE does not want to make it seem like they're copying TNA, which recently introduced a stable with MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley.
June 2, 2014
Big E Langston
In a glorified squash match at Payback 2014, Alexander Rusev defeated Big E Langston via submission to continue his push up the ladder in WWE. He was able to slap on the camel clutch after delivering a big kick to Langston. Afterwards, he held the submission move on for a short period of time before Lana instructs him to let go. Rusev should be placed into a new feud this week.
June 1, 2014
Xavier Woods
WWE has now officially added a match between Big E Langston and Alexander Rusev to the Payback 2014 pay per view. The goal within the company is to provide Rusev with further credibility, so that he can be eventually moved up to the main event scene. Langston is viewed as a more imposing opponent than Kofi Kingston, R Truth and Xavier Woods at the moment.
May 28, 2014
Alexander Rusev
An interesting rumor floating around right now has the Nation of Domination stable making a return to WWE. Some have noted that the four performers that have lost to Alexander Rusev recently are all black. The speculation is that R Truth, Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston will band together as a unit in the story line soon.
May 19, 2014
Big E Langston
When WWE made their edits for the Hulu broadcast of Monday Night Raw, they opted not to remove Alexander Rusev this time around. His segment with Jim Duggan and Big E Langston was included in the two hour version of the show. WWE had previously removed his squash matches from being shown on Hulu. It should be interesting to see if he is included next week as well.
May 14, 2014
John Cena
A lot of wrestling fans are already aware that John Cena and Big E Langston have forged a strong friendship backstage over the past year. The two of them frequently work out with one another. Rumors coming out of WWE is that Cena is again pushing management to let him work with Langston, who has been rapidly losing momentum, later on this year.
May 10, 2014
Alexander Rusev
Earlier in the year, Big E Langston became Big E, while Antonio Cesaro became Cesaro. WWE apparently is a big fan of dropping names because Alexander Rusev is now known simply as Rusev. Management wants to emphasize that he is associated with Russia, in hopes that it will generate massive heel heat for Lana and the big guy.

Wade Barrett

May 6, 2014
Big E Langston
Over the last couple of weeks, Wade Barrett has picked up support from the audience thanks to his catchphrase. He also had a big fan backstage in Vince McMahon. Going into Extreme Rules 2014, the belief within WWE was that Barrett was all but guaranteed to win the IC title, especially since Big E Langston had very little to no momentum.
May 5, 2014
Wade Barrett
The first title change at Extreme Rules 2014 took place when Wade Barrett defeated Big E Langston to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Barrett picked up the pin fall victory after delivering a running Bull Hammer finisher on Langston. A highlight of the pay per view was Langston spearing Barrett from the ring to the floor.
May 4, 2014
Goldberg
"I actually got to meet him at a signing probably about 15 years ago. It was a really pleasant experience. He was really polite. It really demonstrated to me that you can spend 20 or 30 seconds with a fan and you can leave a lasting impression." - Big E Langston reveals that he met Goldberg years ago
May 4, 2014
Wade Barrett
Initially, WWE was expected to give a big push to Big E Langston upon winning the Intercontinental Championship, but some things changed backstage and that never came to fruition. Since Langston has lost so much momentum over the last couple of months, WWE is seriously considering putting the IC title on the rising Wade Barrett at Extreme Rules 2014.

Rob Van Dam
