Management is extremely pleased with their ability to move merchandise. They are among the best at that in WWE. The company has a long history of giving big pushes to performers who can generate revenue through their merchandise.

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Big E Langston was asked about a potential fourth member of New Day. If it was up to the big guy, he would have Sasha Banks in the stable. Langston stated that Sasha was his favorite wrestler in the entire world right now. Those that follow them on social media know that the WWE diva has a close relationship backstage with all three members of the group.

A reporter in Virginia by the name of Alison Parker was shot and killed while on the air today. All three members of New Day took to social media almost immediately to express their condolences. Apparently, Parker had a very memorable interview with the stable last year. Big E Langston stated that she brought energy and warmth to the interview, while Kofi Kingston praised her good vibe. Xavier Woods said she had a kind heart and mind.

During a podcast interview with Chris Jericho, Big E Langston revealed that CM Punk saved his career with WWE. Langston was worried that he was going to be sent back down to NXT, but Punk went to management and specifically asked to work with him. The two of them had no previous allegiance backstage, so this was simply a case of Punk wanting to him a coworker out.

For approximately three months, Vince McMahon met with Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston once a week to discuss a gimmick for their stable. It has now been revealed that McMahon was under the impression that the over the top baby face gimmick would go over with the audience in a huge way. McMahon was said to have been disappointed when they had to turn heel.

Those that watched Battleground last night got to see a good amount of apron moves, including a particularly impressive splash by Big E Langston during the tag team championship match. Apparently, WWE has been instructing their performers to do more of that. While more details are not available yet, there is a belief that it has something to do with ROH.

Since the company was doing a live event in Massachusetts, Big E Langston decided to generate some heel heat for himself by taking a jab at Tom Brady, the New England Patriots quarterback who is now widely known as the guy that has cheated his way to Super Bowl victories and Hall of Fame numbers. It worked pretty well because the audience went nuts. WWE knows that they can always generate a reaction with this method.
