Showing that there is life after WWE, Alberto Del Rio has announced that he will be doing a small world tour in the upcoming weeks. The former world heavyweight champion, who was recently given his release from WWE after a backstage incident, will be working shows in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Puerto Rico and Japan. The initial belief was that WWE would prevent Del Rio from working for another promotion for the next year.

Daniel Bryan
Yesterday, it was revealed that WWE had pulled Daniel Bryan from the upcoming European tour in November. The former world heavyweight champion was scheduled to make appearances at the live events on that continent. Reports are now surfacing that management made the decision to pull him from the tour because Bryan has received confirmation from doctors that a second surgery is needed to repair his neck injury.
August 29, 2014
Wade Barrett
Patience isn't always a virtue in WWE. Wade Barrett was initially told by doctors that he would not be able to make his return to the ring until December. However, the company has a big tour of Europe in November. Since Barrett is viewed as a bit of a draw on that continent, WWE has started advertising his appearances. The belief is that Barrett will rush back from the injury to work those shows.
August 27, 2014
Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle has long stated that he wants to explore his options when his latest contract with TNA expires, and it looks like he's really sticking to his words. The company has announced a big tour of England in 2015, and Angle has not been promoted. The belief is that the company does not want to put themselves in a position where they have to offer refunds because a big star is not there.

Dolph Ziggler
A little buzz was created this week when Dolph Ziggler defeated Randy Orton in the main event of a WWE live event. A lot of fans believed that this would be the start of a push for the former world heavyweight champion. However, that does not appear to be the case. Ziggler was simply substituting for Roman Reigns, who was on another tour. WWE usually lets the baby face win the final match of the night to send the live audience home happy.
August 11, 2014
Sheamus
After taking a little bit of time off the road and in Europe, Sheamus is now back with WWE. While he was not utilized on Monday Night Raw, he did work a match at the taping for WWE Superstars. The former world heavyweight champion was also kept off of Smackdown as well. Sheamus is currently on the tour of Australia with the rest of the WWE crew and should be back on television soon.
August 7, 2014
Dean Ambrose
On Monday Night Raw, fans saw Rob Van Dam being pulled from a Beat the Clock match against Seth Rollins. He was replaced by Heath Slater, who got the surprising win, thanks to distractions from Dean Ambrose. It turns out that WWE did that because RVD is actually not cleared to wrestle. He is still recovering from an unknown injury. For what it's worth, it appears that he might be fine soon, as the former world heavyweight champion is scheduled to head to Australia for the tour.
August 6, 2014
Hulk Hogan
Since they're paying him a tremendous amount of money, Hulk Hogan has been traveling the globe for WWE. After being the unofficial featured attraction in Japan, the former world heavyweight champion has headed down to Mexico to do some promotion work for the company. WWE is doing a tour of the country soon, and they're hoping that Hogan can help spike interest much like he did in Japan.
July 22, 2014
Hulk Hogan
To get an idea of why WWE pays Hulk Hogan so much money even though he can no longer be an in ring performer, simply look at how he was treated during the recent tour of Japan. Media and fans in that country treated the Hogan return as a much bigger thing that the actual WWE live events. Hogan's involvement alone helped to generate better numbers for WWE in Japan than they have been receiving over the last couple of years.
July 17, 2014
Vince McMahon
In a sign of how tight money is becoming in WWE, Vince McMahon has decided to take away the tour bus that the production crew used to travel in. Now, they're being forced to drive themselves, which means that they are receiving very little sleep.
July 16, 2014
Hulk Hogan
With the company in Japan for a tour, WWE stars were in for a bit of a rude awakening this weekend. A 6.8 earthquake struck the island country. Several of the stars made note of the incident through their social media website. Hulk Hogan revealed that his bed had moved around the hotel room. Fortunately, though, this particular earthquake did not produce devastating tsunamis like the last one.

July 9, 2014
Ric Flair
While his television return has yet to be finalized, Ric Flair will be heading to Australia with WWE when the company does their tour of that country in August. Since that is just approximately a month away, many are expected the former world heavyweight champion to be reintroduced on television to help with the marketing of the events taking place in Australia.

The band only has two appearances booked in the next three months. The event in Hollywood, which was supposed to also feature Traci Guns, has been canceled. There is no tour.

Kenta Kobayashi
Next month, WWE is heading over to Japan for a quick tour, and local media has been announcing that the company will hold a press conference to reveal that they have signed Kenta Kobayashi to a contract. WWE has been wanting to increase their presence in the country, and they can greatly improve their chances of doing that by bringing on board one of the more known performers in Japan.
June 28, 2014
Curt Hawkins
JTG and Shad Gaspard are not the only former WWE tag team doing a reunion. Word going around is that Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks are looking into doing a tour of the independent wrestling circuit together. Reks has not been all that active since leaving WWE to start his own business. The two of them should have enough name value to pick up bookings.
June 26, 2014
Bray Wyatt
Since his feud with John Cena cannot go on forever, fans have naturally wondered who WWE was going to have Bray Wyatt feuding against next. There hasn't been any clear indications on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown as to who he will transition into a program with, but rumors are floating around right now that it could be Sheamus. The two of them are scheduled to work against one another on an upcoming tour of Australia, so that could be what WWE has in mind.
June 20, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
In an interesting move, WWE has decided to add Paul Heyman to the upcoming tour of Japan. He will be working three live events in the country, most likely serving as the manager for Antonio Cesaro. The move is a bit interesting because the Japanese fans really are more into the in ring performances than the microphone work, which is basically what Heyman's best asset is.
