Sometimes in life, you just get a deal on the table that is simply too difficult to refuse. Brock Lesnar was given just that by WWE, so he decided to sign on the dotted line instead of waiting to negotiate a contract with UFC and Bellator. The former world heavyweight champion announced on ESPN that his days in MMA are behind him now. His legacy in that sport is completed. He will finish off his career as a professional wrestler now.

It looks like Bobby Lashley will continue to have multiple avenues of income for at least another year. News coming out of Bellator is that a new contract has been reached. The promotion has been pretty pleased with the results that Lashley has been producing. He has fought twice for them and won both match. In terms of his career, the former world heavyweight champion has won 10 of 12 matches due to stoppage.

As expected, WWE is pushing hard for Brock Lesnar to sign a contract extension before his current deal expires. Management definitely does not want him to hit free agency because that means that a major bidding war will take place. UFC and Bellator are already said to be interested in bringing the former world heavyweight champion back into the world of mixed martial arts. Vince McMahon really wants his champion under a new contract before Wrestlemania.

During a recent interview, Alberto Del Rio stated that he was perfectly fine with remaining in professional wrestling, but he left the door open for MMA if a good deal was on the table. Apparently, a good deal is now on the table. Reports have surfaced that Del Rio is quite close to signing a contract with Bellator for at least one fight. The former world heavyweight champion is also said to be negotiating with other promotions as well.

The world heavyweight champion a radio host in England that his intention is to continue fighting, and a new contract with Bellator is being discussed. Lashley also stated that he wants to make sure that he can still continue working for TNA as well.

Fans only knew that it was bad enough for him to be forced to cancel a fight with Bellator but not bad enough that he would miss time from TNA events. Bellator is the company that is interested in Del Rio. Some reports are even stating that a sizable offer has been made to the former world heavyweight champion. No word yet on how far along those negotiations have come, but Dana White, for sure, has not expressed interest.
