Hoping to become a more active touring company in 2016 so that NXT can finally become profitable, Triple H has booked his developmental crew for a tour of the midwest. In January, the promotion will be making their debuts in Milwaukee, Chicago, Detroit and Green Bay. They will also be doing another stop in Pittsburgh. Names being advertised are Apollo Crews, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and Bayley.

Performers like Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and Bayley are going to be among the biggest reasons why fans attend Takeover events and the upcoming NXT tour of England. Rumors have been floating around that the developmental performers do not get rewarded for the recent success, and now, it appears that an official meeting was held to inform the performers that they will not be paid any extra money for their work.

Since management really wants to give her some more credibility in the eyes of the fans, there are plans for Eva Marie to be the one to take the NTX Divas Championship off of Bayley, who recently defeated Sasha Banks to start her first reign as champion. The goal is to make Eva look good enough in the developmental program, so that fans will accept her when she is brought back to the main roster in WWE.

If there is one good thing about AJ Lee retiring from WWE, it's that her departure opens up the door for another female performer. A roster spot and salary slot have been open. A diva on the main roster right now has a chance at filling that void, but that is highly unlikely. More than likely, the company is going to look at the developmental divas in NXT. Charlotte is first in line, but the company is also high on Sasha Banks and Bayley.
