Before he heads off to work on the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, Batista is doing a movie called Bushwick. He plays a war veteran who is trying to help a woman travel across her neighborhood in Brooklyn, which is being attacked. The main plot of the movie is that Texas is trying to secede from the United States, and all hell breaks loose because of it. The movie is scheduled to be released before the end of the year.

As everyone should already know by now, Batista has a role in the recently released James Bond movie, Spectre. What some might not know is that the former world heavyweight champion has only one line in the movie. The director tried to come up with something profound for the character to say, but in the end, he realized that it really did not fit in with the context of the scene.

Batista is moving up even further in Hollywood. The new James Bond movie, Spectre, has already generated more than $80 million. That figure was accomplished despite the film not being released in the United States. Spectre should easily be able to break the $100 million mark. Batista has a role in the movie as a villain, so this should boost his presence with the other movie studios.
