While much of the internet wrestling community is still emotional about the way that CM Punk walked out on WWE, Bret Hart has a different opinion. He completely agrees with how Punk did it. In fact, Hart seemed extremely proud of the former world heavyweight champion for doing that because he feels that Punk stood up for every performer backstage by willingly leaving in order to stand up for what he believes in.

Vampiro and Konnan heat

During a podcast interview with Steve Austin, Vampiro revealed some details about the longstanding backstage heat that he had with Konnan over the years. While they are amicable with one another now, the two of them were heated rivals backstage in WCW. To reduce the real life friction, the two of them decided to sit down and talk for approximately five hours to hash things out.

Back when he was in WWE, Alberto Del Rio used to wear a scarf to the ring. The reason for that is because Vince McMahon hated the fact that Chris Jericho wore scarves backstage all the time. McMahon feels that it is a feminine product to wear. Since he hated it so much, McMahon felt that the scarves would bring even further heat to the heel character that Del Rio was portraying.

Ric Flair on Monday Night Raw

With the creative department scrambling around backstage to change up the script for Monday Night Raw tonight, the latest rumors from backstage is that WWE has decided to add Ric Flair to the show. No word yet on what his involvement will entail, but he could be doing an angle with Charlotte. There is also speculation that he could be working an angle with Sting, since the two of them have quite the history together.

Whenever celebrities are brought into WWE to work a match, there's a lot of skepticism from the internet wrestling community. Many felt the same way when Stephen Amell was brought in for Summerslam. The longtime wrestling fan, though, proved everyone wrong. He did much better than expected. The Arrow star received praised from both the people backstage and the mainstream media.

With so much more of the spotlight being given to the divas in WWE, it is rather interesting to note that Emma has not received any of the love. That does not look to change in the near future, as management simply views her as a filler right now. Though she is talented, there is not much support backstage to garner a nice push for the gal from Australia.

Chris Hero

Chris Hero to TNA

Back in May, Chris Hero was backstage at Impact Wrestling and reports stated that he talked a bit with management about a possible contract. Well, it looks like that deal is not going to be happening anytime soon because TNA is showing very little interest in the move. Hero might have a shot with GFW if he can convince Jeff Jarrett that he is still an asset in this industry after a disastrous run in WWE.

During the latest episode of his podcast show, Ric Flair revealed that Charlotte used to call him all the time and complained about not being called up to the main roster by WWE. Being a caring father, he offered to use his backstage stroke to ask management when that would happen. Since she did not want nepotism to play a factor in her success, she declined the offer from Flair.

A post on Youtube where John Cena pays a visit to the Late Night with Seth Meyers. The United States Heavyweight Champion was there on behalf of WWE to promote the upcoming Summerslam. To make things memorable, Cena performed a backstage skit where he is wearing a tutu and having an imaginary tea party with stuffed animals.

Since he worked backstage in WWE for years, Bruce Prichard has a million stories that wrestling fans would love to hear. He shared one recently. Prichard stated that Vince McMahon did not initially want to sign the Undertaker when he was a free agent. McMahon felt that he looked more like a basketball player than a wrestler. Plus, the Phenom was coming off of a really bad match in WCW against Lex Luger.
