While he sits and waits to hear from WWE, Lex Luger is going to be inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. The former world heavyweight champion is also receiving the Frank Gotch award, which is given to performers to who bring a positive light to the professional wrestling industry with their work outside of the ring. Luger might some day still be inducted by World Wrestling Entertainment.

Some major changes could be taking place to the annual Slammy Awards show. WWE was very concerned with the latest edition because many felt that the big stars, such as Sting, just simply did not care enough to be there to accept the awards that they received. Management might do voting ahead of time, so that they can go to the performers and tape an acceptance message if they cannot be there in person.

The business relationship with NBC has improved tremendously for WWE. The network was able to convince a big brand such as Coca Cola to sponsor an upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw that will be heavily built around the Slammy Awards. Vince McMahon and company have struggled over the years to lure in big advertisers.

She happened to run into Ronda Rousey, whom ESPN deemed to be the best overall fighter in sports. The two of them maintain a friendship and hope to do business together soon.

Since millions of people are going to be watching, WWE wanted to make sure that they had a little presence at the ESPY award show that is hosted by ESPN. Miz, Maryse, Brie Bella and Nikki Bella will be rubbing shoulders with some of the most well known professional athletes on the planet. There should also be a good amount of celebrities there as well.

Since the company is fully aware of how popular Finn Balor is in Japan, they have decided to award him a title match against Kevin Owens at the pay per view that they are doing in Tokyo. The move is a bit unusual as the NXT heavyweight champion has just signed a new contract with WWE that will place him on the main roster. That was initially supposed to happen much sooner. Now, it seems like he will have to wait a couple of more weeks.
