That's the speculation going around right now, as it has been revealed that the contract for the Wolves expire at the end of this year. Management does have the option of extending the deal for another year, but a lot of people are skeptical since the company has been letting a lot of people walk over the last couple of months.

Petey Williams
During a recent interview, Petey Williams provided some answers for his fans who are wondering why he opted for retirement at such a young age. The former TNA star revealed that he opted to walk away because he saw a lot of his peers being injured, and he did not want to be in a wheelchair. Williams also mentioned that he was going to work in law enforcement, joining his wife, who happens to be a police officer.

Bully Ray
A lot of eyes are on the contract negotiations between Bully Ray and TNA at the moment. Many are curious to see if the company will actually let another top level performer walk away. Reports have surfaced that one of the things holding up the deal is the fact that management wants to wait until a new television deal can be reached. TNA is willing to sign the lower level performers right now since the deals are not as expensive.

Rey Mysterio
When Rey Mysterio decided to make a video appearance at TripleMania for AAA, the belief was that he was doing it as a shot at WWE. Rumors have surfaced that he is quite upset with the company in regards to his contract situation. Reports are now surfacing that Mysterio had a handshake agreement with Triple H that would have enabled him to walk away from the company. However, Vince McMahon reportedly decided to overrule that and force to remain under contract to WWE for another year.

Tamina Snuka
In a sign of just how determined she is, Tamina Snuka is now done with physical therapy. Her recovery from a torn ACL back in May is going much quicker than many had expected. She is still wearing a brace on her leg, but she is able to walk and move around fairly well. Initially, Tamina was supposed to be out for the rest of the year, but there is now a chance that she could be making a return earlier than that.

John Cena
With the pay per view just a day away, rumors are firing up about WWE pulling the trigger on the Roman Reigns era. There are talks that he could walk out of the WWE Battleground 2014 pay per view as the new heavyweight champion. Management might be forced to give John Cena some time off to film some scenes in a big movie, so the title change has been discussed heavily over the last couple of days.
July 19, 2014
CM Punk
When he decided to walk away from WWE, CM Punk went on a bit of a social media sabbatical. He recently started posting updates on Twitter again, but it's mostly been about hockey. His first wrestling related tweet was made this week when the former world heavyweight champion posted a little joke about a movie to his good friend Paul Heyman, who responded with a joke of his own.
June 29, 2014
Vickie Guerrero
Earlier in the year, Vickie Guerrero attempted to leave WWE, so that she can focus on the next chapter of her life. Even though she has not been featured in a big role over the last year, management convinced her to stick around for a bit. She agreed, but has repeatedly told management of her desires to move on. It looks like WWE is finally agreeing to allow her to walk away.
June 17, 2014
Aksana
Despite being utilized on Monday Night Raw this week, Aksana received her release from WWE today. Many were expecting the company to let her walk when her contract expired, as it was pretty evident that management was not very big on her. She was rarely used, and she received a lot of backstage heat from WWE officials when she injured Naomi Knight during a match earlier this year.
June 12, 2014
CM Punk
Add Matt Morgan to the list of industry people who are defending CM Punk for leaving WWE. Morgan public stated recently that he admires Punk for being able to do something like that instead of staying with the company because he feels forced to. Morgan also stated that WWE might treat the wrestlers better if more of them were willing to walk away when they are not being used properly.
June 11, 2014

Steve Austin has continuously defended Punk, citing his understanding of how difficult life can be backstage when you're not happy with the direction of the company.
June 11, 2014
Frankie Kazarian
Since the two sides could not come to an agreement on a new contract, Frankie Kazarian finished up his stint with TNA this week by working a pair of taped Impact Wrestling episodes. Rumors have it that management is letting the veteran performer walk, so that they could use his salary slot to sign a pair of younger and cheaper wrestlers.
May 12, 2014
Bray Wyatt
After suffering a loss at the last pay per view, Bray Wyatt needed a victory over John Cena at Extreme Rules 2014, and he got just that. Wyatt received a heavy dose of interference from Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, but Cena still managed to overcome those odds. As Cena was walking out of the cage, a kid showed up and began singing, which provided enough distraction for Wyatt to hit his Sister Abigail finisher and walk out for the victory.
May 4, 2014
Cody Rhodes
When Cody Rhodes and Goldust finally split up in the story line, it appears that the younger brother will be the one doing the heel turn. WWE has been testing out the audience reaction by having Rhodes walk out on Goldust during tag team matches. The belief is that fans would be more sympathetic towards Goldust because of the nostalgia factor.

Brock Lesnar
"Here's a guy that has a huge ego. He has a hard time with putting anybody over and let alone outside the business when someone like Brock Lesnar would have to hurt him. His ego wouldn't let him walk around in a sling. He wants people to know it's entertainment unless he's the one doing it then he wants you to walk around in a leg cast. This is what I see the problem is and I've been pretty critical about it. You've got somebody in that position that's got too big of an ego to run a company like that. Triple H goes to extreme lengths to look good, to be big and cut and make sure he's on the cover of the muscle magazine and make sure he's in fitness things. He's the guy who's putting himself in the forefront. For anybody to run a company like the WWE, you can't be that guy. You've got too much talent out there for you to put yourself out there in front of them." - Ken Shamrock bashing HHH for backstage politics
April 28, 2014
Davey Richards
Despite being against the odds in a 3-on-2 handicap no disqualification match at TNA Sacrifice 2014, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards were able to walk away from the pay per view as the new world tag team champions by beating Zema Ion, Robbie E and Jessie Godderz.

Diamond Dallas Page
"First of all, I wanted to leave. Oh my god, this woman was so nice to me when I walked in there. Once she started hitting me with that deal, I got scared. I go 'Oh my god, she set me up, so should I get up and walk away? How is that going to make the business look?' I breathed, I focused on breathing. The only thing I could think of at that time was that WWE has the best wellness program, better than the NBA, NFL, MLB, so I think that is fighting for the company. I thought about firing back at her (Nancy Grace), but it was a really weird situation. I can't put that bitch over. I can't talk about her anymore, I want to strangle her. The last thing I want to be is in that position. The way it was told to me is that I saw four questions. I said 'I don't know about this' and Nancy Grace said 'No, it's gonna be a feel good piece.' When I walked in there, she was so sweet to me. She totally set me up." - Diamond Dallas Page talks about Nancy Grace

Heath Slater
Since the company needs room for all the new stars that they are bringing up from the developmental program, WWE is expected to allow several of the veteran performers to leave the company soon. The belief is that Heath Slater will be allowed to walk once his contract expires. The 3MB member has expressed frustration backstage over not receiving a push.
April 14, 2014
Aksana
Another name that is rumored to be released by WWE soon is Aksana. While she is on good terms with management now, the backstage relationship has always been up and down. The belief is that the company views her as being expendable and will more than likely allow her to walk once her contract expires. WWE needs room for newer stars.

Bobby Eaton
One of the biggest mysteries in professional wrestling involves Dennis Condrey and his decision to walk away from the Midnight Express. When asked about the situation, Bobby Eaton said that his former tag team partner basically left without saying a word to him for two years. Condrey reportedly did not inform Jim Cornette or the NWA, either.

Austin Aries
Back in July, Austin Aries decided to go silent on Twitter because he was protesting the decision by TNA to allow fans to vote on the return of the six sided ring. For those that are wondering, the X Division Champion has already came back to the social media website. He has been posting regularly. Aries is even promoting Impact Wrestling on there, so it looks like he's back on good terms with the company.
August 16, 2014
Seiya Sanada
For those that missed Impact Wrestling this week, Austin Aries defeated Seiya Sanada to capture the TNA X Division Championship. Since the match was taped before Sanada had a chance to sign a new contract with TNA, the belief is that his potential departure was one of the reasons behind the title switch. Aries also announced that he would be cashing in the belt to get a shot at the world heavyweight champion at Destination X.
July 11, 2014
Austin Aries
Since he was rather upset that TNA was allowing fans to choose the type of ring that the performers had to work in, Austin Aries aired his frustrations through Twitter. Now that the six sided ring has been officially brought back, Aries has decided to leave the social media site for the time being. The move is being done out of protest, but there's a good chance that the former TNA champion will be tweeting again some day.
June 25, 2014
Austin Aries
Right now, TNA is conducting a poll to let the fans decide on whether or not to bring back the six sided ring. While a lot of people are voting for it to take place, Austin Aries has spoken out about the potential move. He states that the ring is more dangerous for the performers. He feels that since they are the ones taking the injury risks, they should be the one to choose which ring gets used.
June 19, 2014
Christy Hemme
For a period of time there, Austin Aries was reportedly in the dog house with officials in TNA because of an incident with Christy Hemme that embarrassed the company. Rumors have it that the punishment is over and the situation has been completely resolved. Aries is said to be on good terms with management again, which could explain why he is being pushed again.
June 13, 2014
MVP
Since MVP has a badly injured knee, TNA decided to change up the main event of Slammiversary 2014. Eric Young will still be defending the world heavyweight championship in a steel cage at the event, but he's now going to be doing so against two opponents. The winners of the respective matches between Samoa Joe, Bobby Lashley, Kenny King and Austin Aries will be challenging Young for the belt.
June 13, 2014
Trent Baretta
A promoter out in Phoenix is putting together a pretty big show called Desert Storm on May 18. Performers being advertised for the event include Chris Sabin, Matt Hardy, Austin Aries, Shelton Benjamin, Shane Helms, Trent Baretta and Lance Hoyt. In terms of the independent wrestling circuit, that is an extremely stacked card, so it will be interesting to see if the promoters can pull this off.

MVP

April 20, 2014
Austin Aries
If you're a big fan of Austin Aries, then you're going to be disappointed at the upcoming rounds of Impact Wrestling, as the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion will not be utilized as frequently as he should. Rumors going around right now is that he had a big blowup backstage at a recent set of television tapings, and management is none too pleased with Aries at the moment.

At the Wrestle-1 Outbreak pay per view, Seiya Sanada challenged Austin Aries for the TNA X Division Championship, and the Japanese star was successfully able to capture that belt. Austin Aries
Richie Incognito made the headlines for all of the wrong reason this past year, as the NFL star was suspended for bullying his teammate. Austin Aries posted this message on Twitter, giving advice to the Miami Dolphins offensive lineman.
February 16, 2014
Seiya Sanada
Austin Aries is one of the TNA stars being sent to Japan in a couple of weeks to work the Wrestle-1 Outbreak pay per view. The Great Muta, who founded the promotion, has selected Seiya Sanada to challenge Aries for the X Division Championship. Sanada was the one chosen to challenge AJ Style for the world title a couple of months ago.
February 15, 2014
Kenny King
Word broke out earlier in the week that Kenny King was making a return to TNA soon. He has filmed some vignettes for the company, and rumors are spreading that he will immediately be challenging Austin Aries for the X Division Championship, a belt that King has held in the past. "It's tough, even Hulk Hogan was a tough loss to accept. Sting has been the cornerstone of the company, Jarrett founded the company and I think he might be the best heel in the business, and AJ Styles is just the best athlete I've ever been in the ring with. From three different perspectives it is a tough pill to swallow because they are three of the best. When you don't have them in the company you hope to god that the young talent steps up, guys like Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, and James Storm seem to be stepping up. Will they replace Sting? You can't replace Sting, will they replace AJ? Probably not, AJ is irreplaceable, but will they become their own characters and do really well, yes they will do phenomenally well and it's not about replacing anymore, it's about making new stars."

Austin Aries

"From a wrestling standpoint, I'd love to have a guy like AJ Styles within the company to wrestle. I think the fans would, too. There was a tease of what could have been, but I don't think anybody saw what me and AJ Styles could do in there. On a personal level, I want AJ Styles to do whatever is best for him and his family, and if that's coming back to TNA that would be awesome. If that's working elsewhere, I completely understand that. If that will happen, I have no idea. I guess we'll find out. We all have to stay tuned and see what happens."

January 18, 2014
Kenny King
A lot of fans have been asking about the whereabouts of Kenny King and his status with TNA lately. He has not been seen since losing to Austin Aries on an episode of Impact Wrestling back in late September. However, he is still under contract with the company. Management just simply does not have anything for him to do right now.

"Well, my opinions don't really matter because the storyline, for me, is just to entertain the fans and keep them engaged in what's going on with the company. I will say that any time that you have the opportunity to take the top prize in the company and take it internationally, and maybe compete and defend it in some territories and in front of some sets of fans that don't normally get to have that honor, I think that's a great thing for the company. That helps get the brand out there and helps put the product out there. A guy like AJ Styles is obviously a great talent and he's going to go out there and put on a performance that's befitting of a man who is the World Champion. So, from that standpoint alone, I don't see how there could be anything negative coming from AJ taking that belt all over the world and defend it against anybody that wants an opportunity. I know that's the same mindset I've had in my past when I've been world champion. Bring 'em all on, near and far, we don't like to sit here and pretend that the only wrestling is the wrestling that happens in our universe. There's professional wrestling going on all over the world and we want to acknowledge it and put our best against their best at any time."
