Austin Aries
If you're a big fan of Austin Aries, then you're going to be disappointed at the upcoming rounds of Impact Wrestling, as the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion will not be utilized as frequently as he should. Rumors going around right now is that he had a big blowup backstage at a recent set of television tapings, and management is none too pleased with Aries at the moment.

Dixie Carter
While a lot of fans bashed TNA for paying big bucks to Hulk Hogan over the years, his true value is coming out as Dixie Carter is having some trouble trying to secure a new television deal for Impact Wrestling. Hogan's name value helped open a lot of doors in business for the company, and his absence has made it a bit harder to sell networks on their product.

Dixie Carter
Rumors are floating around right now that Vince McMahon would be interested in purchasing the TNA library to add to his WWE Network. It could simply just be all speculation right now, as the company has been focused on cutting back their spending because of how much money has been lost over the last several months. Obviously, no negotiations have taken place since Dixie Carter is still trying to find a new television deal for Impact Wrestling.

Dixie Carter
Since rumors broke out about Spike TV canceling Impact Wrestling, TNA officials had to react quickly to prevent their performers from panicking. Dixie Carter and her staff sent out emails to the wrestlers to let them know that the rumors were not true. She reiterated to the crew that negotiations were still ongoing with the network, and the show should remain on television.

Big E Langston
Rumors are floating around that WWE really does not have all their plans in place for that new stable featuring Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. Several names, including R Truth, Titus ONeil and Mark Henry, have been mentioned as possible candidates to join the group, but none of that has been solidified. For the time being, the trio will continue to be vague on television.

Matt Morgan
"If it's true that Spike TV doesn't renew their deal with TNA, it's a double edged sword, in my opinion. They were and are atrociously bad at advertising the show whatsoever. I never used to see us advertised except maybe an hour before Impact Wrestling started. Not acceptable. The most annoying part when I was still wrestling there was I'd see Bellator constantly advertised, and we were doing better numbers at the time. Hell, even Manswers got better public relations by the network than we did. The bad side of the sword is that it obviously takes a ton of TNA's revenue away that they counted on to pay the wrestlers. For the company's future, I think the further they get the hell away from Spike, the better the company will be. That's just my opinion obviously." - Matt Morgan on the rumors that Spike TV is canceling their television deal with TNA

Cameron
It looks like WWE will be utilizing the relationship between Cameron and her boyfriend a bit more during the next season of Total Divas. The belief is that something drastic will happen, where the couple will either break up or do a wedding. The heel turn and split from Naomi Knight was designed to put more attention into her character on the reality television show next season.
July 28, 2014
Dixie Carter
In a landscape changing bit of news, it is now being reported by TMZ that Spike TV officials have informed TNA that they will not be renewing their television for Impact Wrestling, which means that Dixie Carter and company are now scrambling to find a new home. People in the industry know that without a national television deal, it is hard for a company to maintain and grow.
July 28, 2014
Vince McMahon
Vince McMahon has another big headache to deal with, as his company is being hit with a class action lawsuit. The claim is that WWE purposely misled investors about their ability to secure a much better television deal with the network than the contract that they eventually signed. The promise of a bigger television deal was reportedly the reason why a lot of investors sank money into WWE, causing their stocks to soar to record levels.
July 26, 2014
Ric Flair
In an attempt to get as much out of his name value as possible, WWE has been utilizing Ric Flair during live events as a special guest referee. The hope is that his appearance will help convince some fans to attend the show. As of right now, he has been booked on a couple of shows throughout the summer in this particular role. No word yet on what WWE plans on doing with him on television, though.
July 26, 2014
Big E Langston
On Monday Night Raw this week, Xavier Woods, who is only used sporadically on television by WWE, made a surprising appearance after a tag team match featuring Curtis Axel, Ryback, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. He cut a quick promo about how Kingston and Langston cannot get very far in WWE by being nice guys. This is the start of the long rumored stable, which has already been compared to the Nation of Domination by fans online.
July 22, 2014
Road Dogg
Since the company has been releasing people left and right due to the budget cuts, there is some understandable paranoia backstage in WWE nowadays. Recently, people were under the impression that Road Dogg had been released because he was not around for a couple of the television taping. However, it turned out to be a false alarm, as the former Intercontinental Champion was simply on vacation.
July 21, 2014
Angelina Love
Rumors are floating around that there is more to the story of Summer Rae and Layla El teaming up than what WWE tells us on television. Many are saying that the move was in response to Velvet Sky and Angelina Love being back together in TNA. Management wanted to reunite LayCool, but since Michelle McCool was not interested in making a full time return, they opted to go with Summer Rae, as the two of them share a physical resemblance.
July 19, 2014
Kenta Kobayashi
Triple H might be downplaying his arrival to the developmental program, but Kenta Kobayashi is far from a regular new performer joining WWE. Internally, he is being viewed as a major marketing asset as the company is hoping to expand its reaches in Japan. A television network has already agreed to air WWE NXT since Kobayashi will be featured on those shows. The Japanese star is also set to help promote the WWE Network when it expands overseas.
July 17, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
While there has been some pessimism on Global Force Wrestling being able to secure a television deal due to the decline of WWE lately, Jeff Jarrett is reportedly in negotiations with two cable companies right now. It is being said that one of the networks has never carried professional wrestling before, so it is pretty impressive that Jarrett was able to convince them to give it a try.
July 16, 2014
Cameron
In a sign that management might have forgiven her, Emma was not only given a match on WWE Main Event this week, but she was also given a victory over Cameron, who recently did a heel turn. Rumors floated around that the company was not going to be utilizing her on television after she was arrested for shoplifting, but it looks like WWE is attempting to avoid further attention to the incident by going about as usual.
July 16, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
Now that Jeff Jarrett has revealed that a new announcement for Global Force Wrestling is coming soon, speculations have arisen that it will be about a potential television deal that the TNA founder has been working on. While it is unlikely to be on a big network, securing a national TV deal would put GFW ahead of a lot of other wrestling companies.
July 11, 2014
Big Show
For those of you that do not know, Big Show has been off the road and filming a WWE Studios film called Vendetta. The former world heavyweight champion is expected to be done with that movie in a couple of weeks, as WWE has already advertised him for live events in August. Big Show should also be returning to television around the same time as well.
July 11, 2014
Emma
Even though the company quickly rehired her, Emma might actually still be in hot water with WWE. The diva was not spotted backstage at Monday Night Raw or Smackdown this week. The belief is that the company has sent her home for the time being. Many believe that it will be quite some time before Emma is allowed back on television.
July 10, 2014
Cameron
The big brawl between Naomi Knight and Cameron that you witnessed on Monday Night Raw this week was indeed the big breakup that has been teased over the last couple of weeks by WWE. As many already know, this story was set up for the sake of Total Divas, as producers wanted more dramatic stories for the reality television show. Since it is involved with another network, the belief is that WWE will get behind the story and put some emphasis on it.
July 9, 2014
Miz
Up until today, it was a bit of a mystery as to when Ric Flair would be making his television return for WWE. Well, that puzzle has now been solved. The former world heavyweight champion is officially scheduled to make appearances on the next episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. No word yet on what WWE will have him doing, but there have been rumors of a reunion with the Miz floating around over the last couple of months.

Austin Aries
For those that missed Impact Wrestling this week, Austin Aries defeated Seiya Sanada to capture the TNA X Division Championship. Since the match was taped before Sanada had a chance to sign a new contract with TNA, the belief is that his potential departure was one of the reasons behind the title switch. Aries also announced that he would be cashing in the belt to get a shot at the world heavyweight champion at Destination X.
July 11, 2014
Austin Aries
Since he was rather upset that TNA was allowing fans to choose the type of ring that the performers had to work in, Austin Aries aired his frustrations through Twitter. Now that the six sided ring has been officially brought back, Aries has decided to leave the social media site for the time being. The move is being done out of protest, but there's a good chance that the former TNA champion will be tweeting again some day.
June 25, 2014
Austin Aries
Right now, TNA is conducting a poll to let the fans decide on whether or not to bring back the six sided ring. While a lot of people are voting for it to take place, Austin Aries has spoken out about the potential move. He states that the ring is more dangerous for the performers. He feels that since they are the ones taking the injury risks, they should be the one to choose which ring gets used.
June 19, 2014
Christy Hemme
For a period of time there, Austin Aries was reportedly in the dog house with officials in TNA because of an incident with Christy Hemme that embarrassed the company. Rumors have it that the punishment is over and the situation has been completely resolved. Aries is said to be on good terms with management again, which could explain why he is being pushed again.
June 13, 2014
Bobby Lashley
Since MVP has a badly injured knee, TNA decided to change up the main event of Slammiversary 2014. Eric Young will still be defending the world heavyweight championship in a steel cage at the event, but he's now going to be doing so against two opponents. The winners of the respective matches between Samoa Joe, Bobby Lashley, Kenny King and Austin Aries will be challenging Young for the belt.
June 13, 2014
Chris Sabin
A promoter out in Phoenix is putting together a pretty big show called Desert Storm on May 18. Performers being advertised for the event include Chris Sabin, Matt Hardy, Austin Aries, Shelton Benjamin, Shane Helms, Trent Baretta and Lance Hoyt. In terms of the independent wrestling circuit, that is an extremely stacked card, so it will be interesting to see if the promoters can pull this off.

Word broke out earlier in the week that Kenny King was making a return to TNA soon. AJ Styles

"It's tough, even Hulk Hogan was a tough loss to accept. Sting has been the cornerstone of the company, Jarrett founded the company and I think he might be the best heel in the business, and AJ Styles is just the best athlete I've ever been in the ring with. From three different perspectives it is a tough pill to swallow because they are three of the best. When you don't have them in the company you hope to god that the young talent steps up, guys like Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, and James Storm seem to be stepping up. Will they replace Sting? You can't replace Sting, will they replace AJ? Probably not, AJ is irreplaceable, but will they become their own characters and do really well, yes they will do phenomenally well and it's not about replacing anymore, it's about making new stars."

AJ Styles

"From a wrestling standpoint, I'd love to have a guy like AJ Styles within the company to wrestle. I think the fans would, too. There was a tease of what could have been, but I don't think anybody saw what me and AJ Styles could do in there. On a personal level, I want AJ Styles to do whatever is best for him and his family, and if that's coming back to TNA that would be awesome. If that's working elsewhere, I completely understand that. If that will happen, I have no idea. I guess we'll find out. We all have to stay tuned and see what happens."

January 18, 2014
Austin Aries
A lot of fans have been asking about the whereabouts of Kenny King and his status with TNA lately. He has not been seen since losing to Austin Aries on an episode of Impact Wrestling back in late September. However, he is still under contract with the company. Management just simply does not have anything for him to do right now.
January 1, 2014
AJ Styles

"Well, my opinions don't really matter because the storyline, for me, is just to entertain the fans and keep them engaged in what's going on with the company. I will say that any time that you have the opportunity to take the top prize in the company and take it internationally, and maybe compete and defend it in some territories and in front of some sets of fans that don't normally get to have that honor, I think that's a great thing for the company. That helps get the brand out there and helps put the product out there. A guy like AJ Styles is obviously a great talent and he's going to go out there and put on a performance that's befitting of a man who is the World Champion. So, from that standpoint alone, I don't see how there could be anything negative coming from AJ taking that belt all over the world and defend it against anybody that wants an opportunity. I know that's the same mindset I've had in my past when I've been world champion. Bring 'em all on, near and far, we don't like to sit here and pretend that the only wrestling is the wrestling that happens in our universe. There's professional wrestling going on all over the world and we want to acknowledge it and put our best against their best at any time."
