Back in 1996, Arnold Schwartzenegger had a surprising Christmas hit movie called Jingle All The Way, which is still shown every year on television. WWE Studios has secured the rights to the sequel and will begin production soon. The company has tabbed Santino Marella, a comedic performer on Monday Night Raw, as a lead character.
While it has been confirmed that he has signed a two year deal with the company, it now appears that Batista might not be around WWE for much of that time period. Aside from needing to promote Guardians of the Galaxy this fall, he will also now need time away to film the sequel to the movie, which was just announced this week.
Wrestle-1, the new promotion founded by the Great Muta, is about to get an influx of talent from TNA for an upcoming live event in March. Austin Aries, Abyss, Bobby Roode, Brutus Magnus, Christopher Daniels, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Frankie Kazarian, Gail Kim, Madison Rayne and Samoa Joe have been confirmed for the trip.
"It's tough, even Hulk Hogan was a tough loss to accept. Sting has been the cornerstone of the company, Jarrett founded the company and I think he might be the best heel in the business, and AJ Styles is just the best athlete I've ever been in the ring with. From three different perspectives it is a tough pill to swallow because they are three of the best. When you don't have them in the company you hope to god that the young talent steps up, guys like Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, and James Storm seem to be stepping up. Will they replace Sting? You can't replace Sting, will they replace AJ? Probably not, AJ is irreplaceable, but will they become their own characters and do really well, yes they will do phenomenally well and it's not about replacing anymore, it's about making new stars."

While management has given up on the character, WWE will be keeping Sin Cara around because he is featured in the upcoming Scooby Doo movie. Oficials have no plan on bringing the original performer back, so Hunico will have the role until after the movie has been released.
"New Robo Cop movie!!!! Great opportunity to induct him in to the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame to cross promote his movie."

Angelina Love is doing a movie called Night Cries, which apparently is being taped way north of Toronto. Interestingly enough, she is playing a character named Angel, which is the real life first name of the former TNA Knockouts Champion.
"From a wrestling standpoint, I'd love to have a guy like AJ Styles within the company to wrestle. I think the fans would, too. There was a tease of what could have been, but I don't think anybody saw what me and AJ Styles could do in there. On a personal level, I want AJ Styles to do whatever is best for him and his family, and if that's coming back to TNA that would be awesome. If that's working elsewhere, I completely understand that. If that will happen, I have no idea. I guess we'll find out. We all have to stay tuned and see what happens."
Batista and Brooke Hogan worked on a comedy thriller movie together last year called LA Slasher. It was initially to be released in 2013, but delayed until 2014. It now appears that the movie may be in permanent limbo, as no release date has been announced yet.
While WWE officials are still holding out hope, there does not appear to be much of a chance of the Rock working Wrestlemania 30 this year. Aside from being scheduled to go overseas to film a big movie, Dwayne Johnson simply has not expressed much interest in a return.
While a lot of fans are clamoring for him to return to WWE, John Morrison is finding himself more and more busy in Hollywood, as the former ECW champion is shooting a new movie next week. He also has five films in post production at the moment.
Yahoo! Movies has produced a list of 15 stars that are ready to break out this year, and one of the names on there is none other than Batista. The WWE star is being praised for his work as Dax the Destroyer on the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
The Rock recently revealed that he had a meeting with the CEO of Warner Bros. The main topic of discussion was figuring out a way to get the former WWE star on board to perhaps do a DC Comics movie in 2014. His star power would help them compete with Marvel.
While many are hoping for him to return at Wrestlemania 30, the Rock will be rather busy in April. That's when the former WWE star will be heading down to Australia to film a big budget, reportedly $100 million, earthquake movie.
Forbes has revealed that the Rock is the top grossing actor of 2013, as the various movies that have featured the former WWE star combined to bring in approximately $1.3 billion in revenue. He beat out Robert Downey, the star of Iron Man 3.
"Well, my opinions don't really matter because the storyline, for me, is just to entertain the fans and keep them engaged in what's going on with the company. I will say that any time that you have the opportunity to take the top prize in the company and take it internationally, and maybe compete and defend it in some territories and in front of some sets of fans that don't normally get to have that honor, I think that's a great thing for the company. That helps get the brand out there and helps put the product out there. A guy like AJ Styles is obviously a great talent and he's going to go out there and put on a performance that's befitting of a man who is the World Champion. So, from that standpoint alone, I don't see how there could be anything negative coming from AJ taking that belt all over the world and defend it against anybody that wants an opportunity. I know that's the same mindset I've had in my past when I've been world champion. Bring 'em all on, near and far, we don't like to sit here and pretend that the only wrestling is the wrestling that happens in our universe. There's professional wrestling going on all over the world and we want to acknowledge it and put our best against their best at any time."
Batista and Brooke Hogan are both featured in an upcoming movie called LA Slasher. Batista plays an undercover cop, while Hogan plays a reality TV star. The film was initially slated to be released in 2013, but could be pushed back to 2014.

The character of Bonesaw McGraw in the Spider-Man movie was designed specifically for Randy Savage to portray. He is based on a character named Joseph Hogan, who originally appeared in the comic book as the wrestler that Peter Parker fights to test out his newfound powers.
