Slammiversary 2009 Stream

Slammiversary 2009 is going down this Sunday night, and the stream for the show is going to be quite unpredictable.

Slammiversary 2009 Stream

When most wrestling fans hear the term "stream", they'll automatically assume that it has something to do with being able to watch a pay per view online for free.

However, the term "stream" is also used to describe the flow of a pay per view.

Slammiversary 2009 has plenty of interesting matchups, so it will be interesting to see how it gets streamed.

The Main Event

With just one brand, it's pretty easy to figure out the main event matches on most TNA pay per views. There are a few occasions, though, where the secondary match is just as hyped as the main event.

The main event of Slammiversary 2009 is going to be the King of the Mountain match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and Mick Foley are among the best overall performers in the business. It's going to be difficult for any other match to be able to compete with that for the main event spot.

Opening Match

Interestingly enough, all of the other matches that have been announced for Slammiversary 2009 are considered candidates to be the opening match of the show.

When you open up a wrestling pay per view, you generally want to put on a match that can draw in the viewers immediately. Every single match has enough anticipation behind it to draw people in.

Personally, I'd throw the King of the Mountain match for the TNA X Division Championship on first.

First of all, the audience is going to need some time to recover from the match in time for the main event. There's going to be plenty of things to cheer for in this match, so the audience will be pretty tired for the following match.

Secondly, this match is just going to be extremely entertaining. These five guys are sure to put on some fast paced action with plenty of high spots.

It's never been a bad idea to start a pay per view with the X Division guys.

The Show Stealer

While the two King of the Mountain matches are the most likely ones to steal the show, I"m going to go with a dark horse candidate for show stealer.

I believe that the match between Sting and Matt Morgan will steal the show.

This is the biggest match of Matt Morgan's career. He knows full well that he can be put on the map by having a great showing in this match. He'll bring nothing short of his best to the ring, especially considering that he's going up against such a well respected veteran.

On the flip side, Sting also knows that his time in the ring is coming to an end soon. He wants to leave a legacy behind where he helped to elevate as many wrestlers as possible. Sting normally brings his best into the matches anyways, but this match should provide some additional motviation.

Slammiversary 2009 Lineup

If I was in charge of the Slammiversary 2009 stream, I would line it up like this.

  • Suicide vs Jay Lethal vs Alex Shelley vs Consequences Creed vs Chris Sabin
  • Shane Douglas vs Daniels
  • Raven & Daffney vs Abyss & Taylor Wilde
  • Angelina Love vs Tara
  • Sting vs Matt Morgan
  • Team 3D vs Beer Money Inc
  • Kurt Angle vs Jeff Jarrett vs Samoa Joe vs Mick Foley vs AJ Styles

Closing Thoughts

The first and last match should be done this way. Everything else, though, is pretty interchangeable. You can place them just about any other way, and the show's stream should still be fine.
