The Sacrifice pay per view is filled with plenty of matches that are drawing interest. The big problem for TNA is how they're going to stream the event.
Sacrifice 2009 Stream
When most wrestling fans think about the term "stream", they instantly think about the ability to watch the pay per view for free on the internet.
However, the term "stream" is also used to describe the way a pay per view flow.
It's hard enough coming up with the matches for each pay per view. It's even harder to figure out how to stream the matches so that the crowd reaction builds up towards the main event match.
The following is how I would personally stream Sacrifice 2009.
- Suicide vs Daniels
- Taylor Wilde vs Daffney
- Beer Money vs British Invasion
- Angelina Love vs Awesome Kong
- Kevin Nash vs Samoa Joe
- AJ Styles vs Booker T
- Kurt Angle vs Jeff Jarrett vs Sting vs Mick Foley
That stream provides a nice balance for Sacrifice 2009.
The Opening Match
Remember when WCW had the luxury of being able to keep the audience immediately entertained by putting on a cruiserweight match to start the show?
TNA has the exact same luxury now with the X division.
They have to start off the show between Suicide and Daniels. They're two of the better workers in the company, and they'd have to work really hard at putting on a bad match.
The Show Stealer
A couple of matches have the best shot at being the best match of the night.
Suicide and Daniels are guaranteed to put on a good match. It's going to be fast paced, and there's going to be plenty of exciting spots.
If Booker T can keep up his end of the bargain, then he could have a great match against AJ Styles.
Taylor Wilde and Daffney are the wild card. They're going to be doing a hardcore match. Not sure how they're going to do. It's either going to be really bad or really good.
The Main Event
Since TNA doesn't have three separate brands, it's pretty easy to tell which match on their pay per view will end the show.
Even if there were more than just one brand in TNA, a fatal four way match between Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, Sting, and Mick Foley is going to draw the most interest.
The fact that it stipulations that can provide potentially entertaining storylines makes it even more appealing.
Closing Thoughts
If TNA streams Sacrifice 2009 just right, the audience is going to be ready to explode by the time the main event happens. |
