WWE Job Security

When several wrestlers get released, everyone wonders who will be next. Let's take a look at the wrestlers that won't be next.
WWE Job Security
The wrestling industry has never been known as one that provides a ton of job security.
At any time, there are 75% of the roster that are in danger of being released from the company.
To have job security, you're going to have to be pretty special.
You're either going to have to sell a lot of merchandise, sell a lot of tickets, or convince fans to shell out money for pay per views.
Basically, you have to be someone that WWE believes is capable of bringing in money to the company for you to have any job security.
Secured
The following wrestlers are highly unlikely to get released.
- Chris Jericho - He's one of the best overall performers in the business. He simply "gets it".
- Batista - He's a legitimate main event wrestler, and he has some friends in high places.
- Cody Rhodes - He's still young. He's developing rather nicely. Plus, he has a famous father.
- JBL - When you can count the chairman of the company as one of your friends, you have job security.
- John Cena - It doesn't matter how you feel about him. You just need to realize how Vince McMahon feels about him.
- Kane - He's been such a loyal company guy for so long.
- Randy Orton - If he behaves himself for the next 10 years, he'll have a job with WWE.
- Rey Mysterio - He simply is too popular for Vince McMahon to fire.
- Shawn Michaels - Shawn Michaels will walk away from the company before they even have a chance to fire him.
- Ted DiBiase Jr - There's very few guys in this industry that have ever been such a surefire thing to become world champion.
- Triple H - He's more likely to fire Vince McMahon than the other way around.
- Michelle McCool - When you date the Undertaker, you get certain benefits.
- Edge - Edge has shown that he's capable of carrying the company on his back. He's safe.
- Jeff Hardy - If he can avoid failing another drug test, then Jeff Hardy will have a job for as long as he wants.
- Great Khali - If you knew how valuable he was to the international side of the business right now, you'd understand why he has job security.
- Undertaker - I don't think Vince McMahon dares to fire this guy.
Closing Thoughts
If you see any of these wrestlers being released, then it's guaranteed to be huge news. |
