Super Crazy Released

by Jack Windham
November 6, 2008

After months of silent frustration, Super Crazy has finally received his wishes and has been released by WWE.

Super Crazy Released

For months now, Super Crazy has been silently frustrated with his position in WWE.

While he wasn't expecting a main event title push, he was hoping for something a little bit more than what he's getting now.

Super Crazy hasn't been on television consistently for quite some time now.

His frustration finally reached a boiling point at a house show over the weekend.

He requested his release, and WWE eventually gave it to him.

Bad Taste

WWE Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis was said to be quite upset with Super Crazy's request for a release.

It left a very bad taste in his mouth that someone would want to leave the company.

According to reports, he even brought up the fact that there are several wrestlers down in Mexico that would love to be in the spot that Super Crazy was in.

Buying Happiness

There's an old saying that money doesn't buy happiness.

Well, Super Crazy's situation is proof of that.

Super Crazy's frustration has nothing to do with money. He was quite happy with the pay that he was receiving from WWE.

What he wanted was to be utilized better.

Super Crazy is eligible to receive three months of pay from WWE while he is sitting at home.

However, many people are reporting that he's willing to waive those paychecks from WWE just so he can start wrestling elsewhere.

TNA Bound

Just like with everyone that leaves WWE, wrestling fans will be pondering whether or not Super Crazy will head south to TNA.

While he could do quite well in TNA's X Division, it doesn't appear that he's requesting his release to pursue that opportunity.

Perhaps, down the line, if the opportunity presents itself, Super Crazy will work some shows for TNA, but it's not something to expect soon.

Closing Thoughts

WWE just lost a talented in-ring performer who stayed out of trouble, so that's a big loss. However, to the casual wrestling fans, it won't even be remembered.
