Christian Cage to WWE?

The big mystery in wrestling right now involved Christian Cage. Is he headed back to WWE? Or is he staying in TNA?

Christian Cage to WWE

Apparently, Christian Cage loves messing with the internet wrestling community.

When his contract was ending with WWE in 2005, there was a lot of confusion as to what Christian Cage was going to do.

He's a very internet savvy guy, and he knows that there's a lot of wrestling fans who are on the edge of their seats when it comes to wrestling rumors.

Just look at how Rob Van Dam has been able to make people jump in anticipation about a wrestling return that has yet to happen.

Anyways, the hot rumor right now is that Christian Cage is headed back to WWE because he wants the financial stability for his family.

As of right now, though, that has not been officially confirmed.

Christian Cage Stays in TNA

Prior to the WWE rumors hitting the internet, the popular belief was that Christian Cage was going to sign a new deal to remain in TNA.

It would make a lot of sense for Christian Cage to remain in TNA because there's a lot of benefits to it.

While he's not getting paid as much in TNA as he was in WWE, he's also working a lot less days. For a married man, that might be worth more than money.

Another benefit of being in TNA is that Christian Cage is basically guaranteed a spot near the top of the card; WWE has never given him that much faith.

Of course, there's no guaranteed that Christian Cage will remain in TNA. The lure of the WWE spotlight (and paycheck) is pretty big.

Mass Confusion

So, basically, after reading all that, we're at the point where we don't know for sure where Christian Cage is going to go.

You're probably wondering what the hell type of reporting this is.

Well, in our defense, we're not going to be like some wrestling websites and have various reporters submitting contradicting news about the guy (sometimes in the very same day).

To be honest with you, I don't think anyone is really going to know what Christian Cage is going to do until we see an announcement from TNA or WWE.

Of course, TNA is doing a storyline this week that actually addresses Christian Cage's contract situation.

Whether or not it's a smokescreen is anybody's guess.

Closing Thoughts

I really wished that we knew exactly what Christian Cage was going to be doing. Since we don't know, we'll go with the honest approach.
