John Morrison Too Goofy

John Morrison has the look to be the world champion, but apparently, WWE management feels that he's too goofy to step up right now.

Million Dollar Look

Kevin Nash once said that in order to become a successful wrestler, you have to be someone where the girls want to be with you and the guys want to be you.

Of course, Kevin Nash used language that was much more vulgar than I'm allowed to use to get that point across.

John Morrison fits that description to a tee.

A lot of guys work for years to get into shape, but it's still almost impossible for them to achieve the same sculpted figure that John Morrison has.

As far as women are concerned, you don't have to poll more than 10 women to know that he's a wanted commodity.

Too Goofy

The word going around right now is that John Morrison's looks are being overlooked because management feels that he's too "goofy".

People just don't feel that he knows how to generate legitimate heel heat.

Some are even criticizing him for trying too hard to be the "cool heel".

Better Than Nothing

Personally, it doesn't really bother me that John Morrison is trying to be the cool heel.

It's better than nothing.

At least with this character, he's generating some reaction from the audience.

Back when he was simply Johnny Nitro, he had the personality of a 2x4.

I'm not talking about that foam 2x4 that Jim Duggan once used either. When that thing bent, it provided entertainingment, which is more than Johnny Nitro was able to do.

Turning Babyface

Despite being a heel, John Morrison is actually quite popular with the audience.

Unlike the Miz, fans are actually wanting to cheer to him, which means that a babyface turn could be what's needed.

If the writers keep scripting some good comedic promos and skits for him, it could work.

He's already got that flashy style that can convince fans to get behind him.

Look at what flashy moves have done for Evan Bourne and Jeff Hardy.

Closing Thoughts

It would be a shame if John Morrison never received a chance at being in the main event. At the very least, give him a try.
