Idea For Brian Kendrick

With the real life troubles of Jeff Hardy, now is the perfect opportunity for WWE to elevate Brian Kendrick.

Forced

Thus far, Brian Kendrick's push has felt completely forced.

From the start, it's felt like WWE has tried to convince everyone that Brian Kendrick was a singles star.

As always, there's going to be a handful of fans who will instantly believe it since WWE wants them to believe it.

There were even some comparisons to the late great Brian Pillman.

Nothing against Brian Kendrick, but he's nowhere near the level that Brian Pillman was. His character was 100 times stronger.

WWE tried convincing the fans that Brian Kendrick was a star by having him defeat a lot of random jobbers.

While that's the typical route that WWE usually goes through, it wasn't doing all that much for his momentum.

Brian Kendrick received a surprising boost when WWE put him into the Championship Scramble match.

While the match gave him some good exposure, it didn't do much for his long term momentum.

WWE was clearly forcing things.

Hardy Issues

Earlier this week, the wrestling world held their collective breaths when word leaked that Jeff Hardy had been involved in an incident at an airport.

It turns out that he prevented from boarding an airplane because he was deemed to be too intoxicated.

While he won't get fined, suspended, or fired, Jeff Hardy clearly did not please management with this incident.

The incident may have cost Jeff Hardy his chance at the WWE Heavyweight Championship.

Capitalize

If WWE needs to find a way to have Jeff Hardy lose the match at No Mercy without ruining his momentum too much, they should look no further than Brian Kendrick.

Plain and simple, WWE needs to have Brian Kendrick interfering in the WWE Heavyweight CHampionship match.

By having him cost Jeff Hardy the title, Brian Kendrick is going to come out of that pay per view with more heel heat than he's ever had.

WWE can then drop Jeff Hardy down the ladder for a bit (as punishment) to feud with Brian Kendrick for a few months.

The move also allows Jeff Hardy fans to say that he was screwed out of a title.

WWE can solve quite a bit of their problems by doing this simple storyline at No Mercy.
