Mark Henry to Raw

The World's Strongest Man is in need of a change of scenery, and Monday Night Raw just might be the perfect destination for him.
Grown Stale
Mark Henry has been with WWE since 1996. When you've been with the company for that long, it's hard not to become stale.
He's been a member of the Nation of Domination. He's been a member of Thuggin' and Buggin' Enterprises. He's been an enforcer for MNM. He's also been Sexual Chocolate.
The 6'1", 390 pound wrestler has wrestled on Monday Night Raw, Smackdown, and ECW.
When you've been in the company for as long as Mark Henry has, change is needed every once in a while.
That change that he needs right now is moving over to Monday Night Raw.
Raw Rivalries
Mark Henry has wrestled just about every babyface available on Smackdown.
He's already worked programs against Batista, the Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, and Kane.
On Monday Night Raw, though, Mark Henry would have a batch of fresh matchups to work with.
- Mark Henry vs John Cena
- Mark Henry vs Triple H
- Mark Henry vs Shawn Michaels
- Mark Henry vs Chris Jericho
- Mark Henry vs Jeff Hardy
WWE teased a program a while back with Mark Henry and John Cena. That could be a good one month program for John Cena once he wins the WWE Heavyweight Championship back (you know it's inevitable).
Santino's Sidekick
As funny as Santino Marella has been, eventually, his act is going to grow stale unless you tweak it up a little bit.
He's a great talker. He just needs a little something extra to keep the audience's attention. That something extra could be a bodyguard in the form of Mark Henry.
Santino Marella can continue to do the cowardly heel routine while Mark Henry provides the muscle.
In fact, that routine might even be successful enough for them to become the World Tag Team Champions.
If not Santino Marella, then Mark Henry can also be used as a bodyguard for several other heels.
Randy Orton has enough momentum and credibility to where he can elevate Mark Henry as a sidekick.
Same thing with JBL. His character seems the type that would have a bodyguard.
Then there's William Regal. As general manager, it would also make sense for him to have a bodyguard like Mark Henry.
Closing Thoughts
Just to keep him from growing stale, Mark Henry needs to be moved to Monday Night Raw. |
