35 years and dozens of titles later, and he's about to write the final chapter of his illustrious wrestling career. That final chapter will be a retirement match against Shawn Michaels on the biggest stage in professional wrestling.

At Wrestlemania 24 in Orlando, Florida, Ric Flair will have his final match ever.

Shawn Michaels was hand picked by Ric Flair to be a part of this match. The Nature Boy wanted a high profile opponent who can help him have a great match to finish his career.

It's not just an act when Shawn Michaels says that he idolizes Ric Flair. He really means it. It really is an honor for him to be in this match, and he'll do everything in his power to make sure that the match is great.

In the past, Shawn Michaels has been known to refuse to do the job, but if management really wanted Ric Flair to get the surprise win here, he'll have no problems taking the loss.

More than likely, though, Ric Flair will end his career at Wrestlemania 24.

After all that he as done in the wrestling business, Ric Flair deserves a proper send off. A high profile match with Shawn Michaels is a great way for him to retire.

Ric Flair is years past his prime, but don't be too shocked if he pulls out one more great match. With a gifted worker like Shawn Michaels in the ring, Ric Flair would't have to do all that much to make the match memorable.

The only way Ric Flair wins this match is if management wants to surprise the audience. They know full well that the fans fully believe that Ric Flair will lose the match.
