Can Shawn Michaels Save Jeff Hardy?

Jeff Hardy needs help, and the person that can do that for him is already on the roster.

The Next Shawn Michaels

There was a time when fans called Jeff Hardy "the next Shawn Michaels".

Of course, they were referring to his abilities in the ring as opposed to Jeff Hardy following in Shawn Michaels' footsteps outside of the ring.

There was once a time when Shawn Michaels had problems with his personal demons as well.

Of course, he managed to pull through that and come out stronger than he was before.

Shawn Michaels has turned his life around. He's found religion, and he has grown into a father and a husband.

Gone are the days of being the most selfish wrestler in the business. Gone are the days of partying with his friends.

Leaving a Legacy

When wrestlers get to a certain age, they start to think about their legacy.

Over in TNA, Booker T has been trying to leave his mark on professional wrestling by helping to elevate a few wrestlers before he leaves.

Shawn Michaels has expressed that he wanted to leave a mark in wrestling before he left as well.

A few months back, he showed a desire to help out the business by assisting with the developmental system.

The biggest favor that Shawn Michaels could do for professional wrestling is to save Jeff Hardy.

Still Not Over

Even though he's been busted for drugs twice (maybe three times), it's still not completely over for Jeff Hardy.

He can still have a great career.

Granted, he might have to wait a little bit before WWE can feel comfortable pushing him again. However, the door hasn't been completely shut.

In order to have a great career, though, Jeff Hardy is going to have to straighten his life out and make professional wrestling a priority.

Over the years, it's been a well known fact that wrestling isn't Jeff Hardy's only priority. It might not even be his biggest priority.

It's perfectly fine for him to have interests outside of wrestling, but he should definitely take wrestling a bit more seriously because out of all the things that he does, wrestling is the thing that pays his bills.

Shawn Michaels can help him with that. The Heartbreak Kid has shown an ability to juggle his career, his religion, and his family.

If Shawn Michaels can save Jeff Hardy, we'd all be thankful for it.
