Celebrities at Wrestlemania

Ever since the start of this entire thing, celebrities have been spotted at Wrestlemania.
Wrestlemania 24 Celebrities
So far, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Kim Kardashian, Floyd Mayweather and John Legend have been confirmed for Wrestlemania 24.
Those five will be involved either in matches or with the national anthem.
More than likely, there's going to be about a dozen or so more celebrities spotted in the audience at the Citrus Bowl.
A lot of celebrities are wrestling fans. Those that are usually try to make it out for Wrestlemania (or whenever WWE is in Los Angeles).
Adam Sandler & Rob Schneider
Two of the most famous wrestling fans in the world are Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider.
They're both guaranteed to be in attendance (usually in the front row) whenever WWE does a show in Los Angeles or Anaheim.
Don't be too surprised to see them both in attendance in Orlando for Wrestlemania 24.
We can't imagine either guy sitting by the phone waiting for tickets to go on sale, so it's safe to assume that they have some pretty good connections for their tickets.
Athletes
A lot of times WWE will showcase some local athletes (usually professional football or baseball players) in the audience as well.
Don't be too surprised to see some NFL or MLB players at the Citrus Bowl for Wrestlemania 24 either.
This year, Floyd Mayweather is stepping into the ring for a match. He's not the first professional athlete to do so, and he won't be the last.
In the past, guys like Lawrence Taylor (who did extremely well in the ring), William Perry, and a slew of other NFL players have been involved in matches.
Mike Tyson did a tremendous job of drawing extra media attention for Wrestlemania when he was a guest referee.
Baseball legend Pete Rose has been involved in numerous skits and actually got himself inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Musical Acts
WWE has secured John Legend to perform the national anthem this year. In the past, they've managed to secure other musical acts for the same role.
It's become a Wrestlemania tradition to have musical celebrities doing the national anthem.
Another thing that is starting to become a Wrestlemania tradition is the use of musicians performing the entrance songs for a select few wrestlers.
Closing Thoughts
Wrestlemania just wouldn't feel right without having a slew of celebrities on hand. |
