WWE paid a ton of money to have Floyd Mayweather involved with Wrestlemania 24 this year.
From a marketing standpoint, he's done a good job. There's been a good amount of coverage from the media.
From a wrestling standpoint, though, he's been awful. He comes off as someone trying way too hard to establish his real life character. Floyd Mayweather has also come off as being a bit rough in interviews.
It's hard to imagine his Floyd Mayweather and his people agreeing to the match if they were going to lose. He won't let himself look bad, especially with a huge fight against Oscar De La Hoya later on in the year.
Don't be too surprised to see Rey Mysterio making an appearance to help out Floyd Mayweather. |
