With the way things are looking right now, it appears that Tensai is done as a full time in ring performer for WWE. He has been spending a lot of time lately working in other areas of the company. He has done commentary for WWE NXT and is currently working on a show for the WWE Network. He might still work matches occasionally, though.

Accelerating his transition from professional wrestler to wrestling commentator, Tensai has started working on a new show for the WWE Network. He, Alex Riley and Booker T are working on a project right now, and the belief is that is will be a kickoff show for Monday Night Raw.

Bad news for Vince McMahon today. He lost some more money, as WWE stocks was hit with quite the drop. The belief is that investors are jumping ship before quarterly results are announced at the end of October. Many are under the impression that the company will not reach their goal of breaking a million subscribers for the WWE Network. Another major drop could take place when the announcement is made.

Chalk up another victory for Vince McMahon and his quest to draw in a younger audience. The company has reached a deal with Nickelodeon. The network will start airing episodes of Slam City this week. For those that are not aware, it is a cartoon based on the WWE performers getting jobs outside of wrestling. It had previously been airing solely on the WWE Network, but it is now available on television.

As has long been speculated, the WWE Network has now announced that they will include advertisement on the service. Vince McMahon has yet to reach the subscribers count that he was looking for, so additional revenue was needed. Subscribers have been quite vocal about the possibility of being forced to watch commercials on a service that they are paying a monthly fee for.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are trying to take some power away from George Barrios and Michelle Wilson, two high ranking executives within the corporation. HHH and Stephanie are using the early failures of the WWE Network against Barrios and Wilson.

Some rumors floated around this week that WWE was looking to sell their entire tape library to Warner Bros. That caused a lot of gullible fans to believe that Vince McMahon was giving up on the WWE Network. Rumors are false, as the article was filled with quite a bit of inaccuracies, including the statement that Cinadigm was the actual owner of the footage.

Despite losing millions and millions of dollars, Vince McMahon still has a way of generating hope among investors. WWE stock is currently on the rise, and the reported reason for that is because people think that the subscribers count for the WWE Network is expected to skyrocket since it has now been launched internationally. Management has not been promoting the international launch too hard for fear of being accused of misleading investors again.

Before the WWE Network was shoved down the throats of fans on a weekly basis, the company was promoting a social media website called Tout. They constantly mentioned the service, and they had several of their performers utilizing it to interact with the fans. WWE invested approximately $5000 into the company and signed a two year agreement. Stephanie McMahon was even on their board of directors. It looks like the deal is now over, as reports has surfaced that WWE was not interested in renewing the contract.

With Night of Champions 2014 being a crucial pay per view in terms of drawing in WWE Network subscribers, management is going to be stacking the deck a bit. They knew that they needed their two biggest draws in the main event. That's why it has now been officially announced that John Cena has activated his rematch clause against Brock Lesnar, and the two will tangle again for the world heavyweight championship.

When Vince McMahon decided to take the WWE Network north of the border, they decided to partner up with Rogers Communications. That led to a lot of upset fans because the full online service was not being made available in that country. Rogers has now announced that they are working on a plan to bring the full WWE Network experience to their customers in the near future.

Apparently, there is a deal in place where the wrestlers are supposed to receive a portion of the money made from the WWE Network. No word yet on how big of a percentage that Vince McMahon is giving out. Unfortunately for the performers, though, no money is being paid out right now because the online service is losing a ton of money and forcing the company to release employees left and right.

The success of Guardians of the Galaxy has changed things up a bit backstage in WWE. It has given Batista a bit more leverage now that his name value has increased with the general public. Management is being careful with how they spend their money nowadays because of the major losses due to the WWE Network, but many feel that they would pay for Batista because he can bring a lot of attention to the company.

McMahon is also looking into a lot of options on how to increase the subscribers count. Fans in Canada have access to the WWE Network now, but it is not like what their counterparts in the United States are used to. Instead of it being an online service, Vince McMahon made a deal with Rogers that puts his product on television. Fans will have access to the scheduled programming, but they will not be able to browse through the catalog. It is also $11.99 instead of $9.99. In addition to that, Rogers is only available in a portion of the country, so everyone else is left out. That has caused some criticism from fans online.

Initially, rumors floated around that the WWE Network was going to be available on a monthly basis without commitment to subscribers for $19.99. However, it looks like Vince McMahon and company are going to reduce that down to $12.99. Many felt that doubling the price would be too much for people, so the new price was agreed upon. The belief is that a lot of subscribers who were on the six month commitment may switch over to the monthly plan.

It appears that a free subscription of the WWE Network is being given to employees who are being given a release from the company. Evan Bourne revealed that management gave him a full account when he was let go. The belief is that others were afforded the same benefit as well. Management is probably doing this as a way of keeping things well with departing employees.

With his in ring career fully behind him now, Tensai has been slowly gaining power backstage in WWE. He impressed management with his ability to function as a color commentator. Now, he has convinced them to let him have a bigger part in the company by training the developmental wrestlers. WWE likes the fact that Tensai has worked overseas and is familiar with a lot of different styles of wrestling.

Since he has been making the transition from in ring performer to commentator, Tensai has been contemplating a name change, as his current moniker does not suit his new position with WWE NXT. During the television taping this week, he was introduced as Jason Alberts, which might be a play on his former character name of Prince Albert.

Through Twitter, Karl Anderson revealed that Tensai was making $349,000 a year in WWE. That amount is substantially higher than what the lower level and mid card guys in the company are making. It is especially high if you take into account that he is now transitioning from in ring performer to commentator.

There are those backstage in WWE that are wondering why the feud between Brodus Clay and Tensai never surfaced. Obviously, management wanted it to happen at one point, as they gave the split some television time. The feeling is that there is backstage heat on Clay, as he has not been utilized on television in three weeks now.

There is some confusion backstage in WWE over what the company is doing with Brodus Clay. While they made the effort to turn him heel, give him a new look and split him apart from Tensai, Naomi Knight and Cameron, management hasn't exactly been behind his push. He has lost his last seven televised matches and has only been used on Smackdown once this year.

While he still continues to appear as an active in ring performer for WWE, Tensai is also working a side job as a commentator for NXT. The belief is that the veteran is simply preparing himself for a potentail career after he retires from the ring.

The current plan in WWE is to have Naomi and Cameron leaving Brodus Clay, who has now turned heel, and Tensai to join Xavier Woods and R Truth. The segment on Monday Night Raw this week was designed to further that story line.
