RAW AND SMACKDOWN ON WWE NETWORK
Some good news for WWE Network subscribers. The company has now added episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown from this year to the online service. Vince McMahon and company had to wait until a new television deal with NBC was finalized before they could do so. Several subscribers of the service complained about the lack of content on the WWE Network, so this should help appease some of them.

Chalk up another victory for Vince McMahon and his quest to draw in a younger audience. The company has reached a deal with Nickelodeon. The network will start airing episodes of Slam City this week. For those that are not aware, it is a cartoon based on the WWE performers getting jobs outside of wrestling. It had previously been airing solely on the WWE Network, but it is now available on television.

Rumors have surfaced that Vince McMahon and company have given up on Bo Dallas. They do not view him as someone that will be a major asset to WWE. With his push being derailed on television, these rumors appear to lean closer to fact than fiction. Dallas had his push taken away almost immediately the last time he was on the main roster, so there are those that believe that this might be his final chance.

Fans in Canada have access to the WWE Network now, but it is not like what their counterparts in the United States are used to. Instead of it being an online service, Vince McMahon made a deal with Rogers that puts his product on television. Fans will have access to the scheduled programming, but they will not be able to browse through the catalog. It is also $11.99 instead of $9.99. In addition to that, Rogers is only available in a portion of the country, so everyone else is left out. That has caused some criticism from fans online.

Rumors are floating around right now that Vince McMahon would be interested in purchasing the TNA library to add to his WWE Network. It could simply just be all speculation right now, as the company has been focused on cutting back their spending because of how much money has been lost over the last several months. Obviously, no negotiations have taken place since Dixie Carter is still trying to find a new television deal for Impact Wrestling.

Vince McMahon has another big headache to deal with, as his company is being hit with a class action lawsuit. The claim is that WWE purposely misled investors about their ability to secure a much better television deal with the network than the contract that they eventually signed. The promise of a bigger television deal was reportedly the reason why a lot of investors sank money into WWE, causing their stocks to soar to record levels.

According to backstage rumors, Adam Rose is clinging on by a thread since key members of WWE management, including Vince McMahon and producer Kevin Dunn, are not big fans of his character. Things might have gotten worse since his match at Money in the Bank 2014 against Damien Sandow was basically ignored by the live audience. Rose could be demoted from television very soon.

Some more bad news for Vince McMahon. It has now been revealed that WWE has lost their television deal with NT1. The two companies have been doing business for approximately eight years now. NT1 has decided to drop WWE from their programming due to declining ratings. McMahon still has his deals with cable and satellite companies in France, but there are fears that those deals could be dropped as well.

In order to main his character's popularity, the former world heavyweight champion prefers to not be shown on television. However, when the show runners needed someone to work against Bray Wyatt on Main Event this week, they accidentally chose Swagger as the opponent, not realizing that he should be kept off of television for a couple of weeks.

While a lot of fans are under the assumption that there will be a huge number of international subscribers for the WWE Network, the latest financial reports tell an entirely different story. Over the last three months, the online service has picked up 31,000 more subscribers. Since 3,000 of those are domestic, that means that only 28,000 subscribers signed on from 170 different countries. It's a positive, but not nearly what was needed to get to the 1 million subscribers mark that Vince McMahon desperately wants.

Anyone that has followed WWE for a couple of years already knows that things are pretty hectic from January through April. It looks like management is looking to alleviate some of the clutter by removing the Elimination Chamber pay per view. Vince McMahon still loves the gimmick, however, so the cage match might be moved towards the summer or fall.
