MVP is taking the weekend off from TNA live events, so that he can travel to England to work a big show over there for PCW. Promoters there have also booked Al Snow, Shane Helms, Low Ki and Chris Masters as well. One of the things that MVP asked for in contract negotiations with TNA is to have some freedom and flexibility to work overseas still.

A lot of changes have taken place on the upcoming WWE tour of Europe. Initially, Randy Orton was scheduled for the entire trip. Then, after he expressed frustration with his role in the company, management allowed him to leave during the second half of the tour. Now, the former world heavyweight champion has been removed from the overseas shows altogether. He is being replaced by Bray Wyatt, who will work matches against Chris Jericho.

Back in June, Yoshi Tatsu was given his release from WWE, and many speculated that it would only be a matter of time before he headed back overseas. Earlier this week, he made his return to New Japan by attacking Jeff Jarrett and helped Hiroshi Tanahashi recapture the IWGP Heavyweight Championship from AJ Styles, whom Jarrett was trying to help illegally regain the belt.

Management does not have a lot of top level talent on the active roster nowadays, and Jericho still is enough of a draw to overseas fans. The deal is for five years, which means that Dixie Carter and company will maintain a strong presence overseas, even if they are unable to secure another deal with Spike. Rock has now informed the fans that the movie has topped the box offices in India, Russia and Australia. The movie has generated almost the same amount from international viewers as it has domestic ones. Internally, he is being viewed as a major marketing asset as the company is hoping to expand its reaches in Japan. A television network has already agreed to air WWE NXT since Kobayashi will be featured on those shows. The Japanese star is also set to help promote the WWE Network when it expands overseas.

There were some backstage jokes at Bound For Glory 2014 that Mike Tenay was the agent for Kaz Hayashi. The two of them formed a bit of a bond when they were working in WCW together. When Wrestle-1 officials were trying to decide who to throw into the triple threat match with Low Ki and Samoa Joe, it was Tenay that convinced them to go with Hayashi. Japanese officials were said to be quite impressed that Tenay even knew who Hayashi was.
