Patience isn't always a virtue in WWE. Wade Barrett was initially told by doctors that he would not be able to make his return to the ring until December. However, the company has a big tour of Europe in November. Since Barrett is viewed as a bit of a draw on that continent, WWE has started advertising his appearances. The belief is that Barrett will rush back from the injury to work those shows.

With so much speculation in the air on his condition, it looks like Daniel Bryan will be making a return to WWE in November. Unfortunately, though, he will not be wrestling when he does come back. Management has advertised Bryan to be at the live events that the company is hosting in Europe later on this year. The feeling is that WWE needs all the star power that they can get to draw in the audience.

He recently revealed that the studios have renewed Redneck Island for a fourth season and have decided to give the Broken Skull Challenge a second one. These deals give him a bit of leverage in negotiations with WWE, who still want him to return for another season of Tough Enough.

A Shield reunion could be taking place as soon as Night of Champions 2014. Unfortunately, though, the trio will not be on the same side. There are talks now that instead of doing a singles match between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, WWE could opt to go with a tag team match. Dean Ambrose would make his return and team up with Reigns against the team of Rollins and Kane.

Initially, the belief was that Batista would make a return to WWE after he was done promoting Guardians of the Galaxy. However, reports are now surfacing that he could be completely done with professional wrestling. The belief is that the movie studios are against the idea of him risking injuries by being an in ring performer again. Batista could have no choice but to comply since he wants his career in Hollywood to keep growing.

There are rumors floating around right now that Zeb Colter is going to be dropped from television and removed as the manager of Jack Swagger. Many are assuming that since WWE kept him off of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. Colter is said to be making a return soon and is only selling the kick from Alexander Rusev. Management still views him as an asset.

When Bray Wyatt was closing out his feud with John Cena, many wondered who WWE was going to pair him up with next. Fortunately for the company, Chris Jericho agreed to return and help keep Wyatt interesting. Their feud is about to end, so the question has popped up again. As of right now, it looks like WWE is leaning towards putting Wyatt together with Sheamus in a program.

Reports has surfaced that HHH is not interested in a reunion with the former world heavyweight champion. There is said to be some lingering backstage heat from HHH towards Angle, whose contract with TNA expires in exactly a month from today.

During a recent interview, Kurt Angle revealed that he only has another month left on his contract with TNA. He actually stated September 21 as being the final day of the deal. As usual, Angle left open the possibility of making a return to WWE, while not ruling out an extension with TNA. The former world heavyweight champion stated that no matter where he signs his last deal, it will have to be a part time schedule.

While management has been trying to cut back on spending, the belief is that they would open the check book for Angle since he is a superb performer who can draw in a good amount of fans.

Feeling like he did not want to be forced out of the ring, Santino Marella is already working on making a comeback. The belief is that WWE wants that return to happen in their ring. The company still believes Marella to be an asset, as evident by the fact that they gave him a new three year contract a couple of months ago. No time frame has been given for the Marella return yet.

Back in July, Austin Aries decided to go silent on Twitter because he was protesting the decision by TNA to allow fans to vote on the return of the six sided ring. For those that are wondering, the X Division Champion has already came back to the social media website. He has been posting regularly. Aries is even promoting Impact Wrestling on there, so it looks like he's back on good terms with the company.

He understands his body well enough, and he has spoken with quite a few doctors on the matter. Bryan is leaving open the possibility that he may never wrestle again because of the injured neck. The former world heavyweight champion has dismissed rumors that he will be back by Royal Rumble 2015.

The belief within the industry is that Evan Bourne is hoping to make a return to WWE some day. He recently did a shoot interview, but the video was rather tame. He did not reveal too many secrets, and he did not show a ton of animosity towards the company. If Bourne can show that he can stay sober and injury free, then WWE might be willing to give him another chance since he did have a little bit of a fan base.

When Jennifer Hudson told the media that she was not pleased with idea of David Otunga leaving the family for extended periods of time by returning to a full time schedule with WWE, many were under the belief that it was just for public relations. However, there are those that believe that it might be a legitimate thing, as Otunga has yet to hit the road again. WWE is said to be interested in a return.

The decision to release Mason Ryan was not an easy one within WWE. He was very well liked backstage, as he showed an ability to control his ego by being humble and seeking advice from veterans. Ryan also had a tremendous look, which is something that the company has long preferred. WWE simply did not feel that Ryan was improving as much as they were hoping he would.

It did not take long for Mason Ryan to find work. Days after being released from his developmental contract with WWE, he has now been signed to work a match for Pro Wrestling Syndicate in New Jersey in June. No word on what his future plans are, but there are rumors that he could attempt to be picked up by either TNA or Global Force Wrestling.

It looks like the rumors about a fourth member of the Shield is out the window, as WWE has opted to release Mason Ryan instead. The muscular wrestler was supposed to have been called up to the main roster to join Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, but WWE changed their mind about splitting Roman Reigns from the stable. Ryan was signed back in 2009.

There are still those backstage that are pushing for the Shield to remain together, even when Roman Reigns is split off and pushed as a singles star. Some are concerned that Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose could be lost in the shuffle without Reigns around. There were talks previously of bringing Mason Ryan up as a replacement member, but no word on whether WWE is still planning to do this.

There was a WWE NXT taping this week, and fans at the event voiced their displeasure with Batista, even though the performer was not on location. They cheered on Mason Ryan, stating that he was better than Batista. Then, they mocked Bo Dallas, chanting that he was worse than Batista. This should help expedite that heel turn a bit.

One of the reasons why Jason Jordan and Mason Ryan are being phased out as a tag team is because WWE wants the latter to be utilized as a singles wrestler again, in preparations of being called up to the main roster. Over the weekend, several wrestlers, including Chris Jericho, Howar Finkel, Jim Ross, MVP, Diamond Dallas Page, Mason Ryan, Chavo Guerrero, Michelle McCool, Vickie Guerrero, JBL and others, noted the passing of Frank Bullock, a WWE employee who did audio for the company. He had been battling cancer before his death.

In a sign of how badly the company wants to see him becoming a star, it has now been close to two whole years since Mason Ryan was sent back down to WWE NXT for further developmental work. His last televised appearance with the main roster was back in April of 2012 in a match against Dolph Ziggler. Ryan is expected to be given another chance around Wrestlemania 30.
