Even though the company has been slowly downplaying the importance of the Great Khali, WWE has plans in the works to expand even further into India. Management recognizes the country as a very profitable one for their brand. More shows are being planned, and television deals are being cemented. While the company no longer wishes to pay him as much money as before, this move into India might help Khali secure another contract soon.
