When the two of them were feuding, there were rumors of backstage heat between CM Punk and Ryback. During a recent podcast interview with Colt Cabana, the former world heavyweight champion confirmed those rumors. He stated that he felt that Ryback was purposely injuring him, since it happened so frequently. Punk also thinks that Ryback was abusing steroids, an allegation that will not sit well with WWE officials.

A lot of fans were under the impression that Randy Orton was going to make an appearance at Survivor Series 2014, especially since he was backstage and the event was taking place in his hometown. Management actually had that planned, but they canceled the idea because they wanted the focus to be on Sting. Dreamer posted an image of Joey Styles and playfully joked about the ECW banner in the background. The belief is that a settlement agreement has been made backstage. Earlier this month, the Great Muta promised to attack the Rock when the former WWE star visited Japan to promote his Hercules movie. Obviously, there was no real life friction, and Muta was simply stating that to help with promotion. In the first match, Samoa Joe, Low Ki and former WCW star Kaz Hayashi will be battling in a triple threat match for the X Division Championship. Rockstar Spud, Ethan Carter, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards were all sent to Japan by Dixie Carter to participate. Great Muta even teamed up with Spud and Carter in a match. The belief is that we will be seeing more talent exchange situations between the two companies for the foreseeable future.

The former TNA X Division Champion has decided to sign another contract with Dixie Carter that will ensure that he remains in the United States until at least the end of the year.
