BROCK LESNAR NOT AT UFC 168

Brock Lesnar was not in attendance at UFC 168 in Las Vegas last night. There were heavy speculations that he was supposed to have been there because of the all the rumors swirling about the part time WWE star making a return to MMA.

Even though he is now a WWE star again, Brock Lesnar still keeps up with the world of MMA. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion recently contacted Dana White to ask the company president for a favor. Lesnar needed help convincing close friend Pat Berry to retire because his health was being jeopardized. White did not feel that he had enough sway to make Berry quit the sport.

CM Punk was not the only former WWE star that attended the UFC event in Las Vegas over the weekend. Steve Austin was there as well. He has been frequently spotted at MMA shows, especially back when Brock Lesnar was still fighting. No word yet on whether or not Punk and Austin got together for a discussion that night.

After his big MMA fight in May against King Mo, Rampage Jackson will start training for professional wrestling. Bjorn Rebney, the CEO of Bellator, stated that he has hired coaches and trainers to come in and teach Jackson the finer points of being a wrestler. He also noted that he keeps in contact with Dixie Carter, so Jackson will be working with TNA again soon.
