There is a little bit of a buzz generating from the independent wrestling circuit. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas are going to be reuniting for a show in Houston, which is being promoted by Booker T. The reason why there is a buzz brewing is because Kurt Angle recently teased fans on Twitter by asking them if they want to see a Team Angle reunion, which has sparked rumors that the Olympic gold medalist might be making a surprise appearance at the event.

Since he abruptly retired from professional wrestling, Charlie Haas has been relatively quiet. He abandoned his Twitter account, and he only appeared sporadically at obscure independent wrestling shows in Texas. The former WWE star is making a little comeback in November, though. He will be teaming up with Shelton Benjamin for a Jersey All Pro show in Rahway, New Jersey.

With Jeff Jarrett traveling the world to find professional wrestling stars to join his new Global Force Wrestling, a name that has popped up in the rumor mills is Charlie Haas. The former WWE star has been really quiet since his odd departure from ROH. Haas has been in semi retirement, working small shows here and there in Texas. He would bring a veteran presence and a familiar face to GFW.

Last spring, Charlie Haas abruptly announced his retirement after a really weird incident with ROH that took place both backstage and in the ring. While many expected him to resurface, he has opted to remain off the grid. He has worked a couple of matches on the independent wrestling circuit in Texas, but those were mainly small shows.
