In a really one sided match at TNA Sacrifice 2014, Kurt Angle and Willow, who is the alter ego of Jeff Hardy, were able to defeat Ethan Carter and Rockstar Spud. Hardy hit Spud with a Twist of Fate, Angle followed it up with a suplex and Hardy closed things out with his Swanton bomb finishing move for the pin fall victory.

Since WWE needed a filler segment at Money in the Bank 2014 and wanted to showcase Adam Rose a little bit, he was given a quick match against Damien Sandow, who was dressed as Paul Revere. Match was not really all that noteworthy, and Rose got the win after hitting the Party Foul finishing move. This was a segment that belongs more on Monday Night Raw than a pay per view.

While the performers avoided major injuries at Extreme Rules 2014, Rob Van Dam did get beat up a bit, thanks largely to his closing segment with Antonio Cesaro. The former world heavyweight champion suffered cuts and bruises to his face after crashing down on to a trash can while doing his signature Five Star Frog Splash finishing move.

The triple threat match at Extreme Rules 2014 quickly became a singles match after Jack Swagger was eliminated after a combination of a superplex and flying splash. Antonio Cesaro then won the match by pinning Rob Van Dam after delivering his Neutralizer finishing move on top of a trash can. Zeb Colter and Paul Heyman had minimal involvement.

In a TNA Sacrifice 2014 match where the loser would be sent to the mental ward, Mr Anderson was able to defeat Sam Shaw by delivering the Mic Check finishing move onto the back of the van and tossing his opponent into the vehicle. TNA Knockout Christy Hemme provided the assistance to Anderson by showing up and distracting Anderson.

In the most shocking moment of Wrestlemania 30, the Undertaker was defeated by Brock Lesnar after succumbing to his third F-5 finishing move. The winning streak has come to an end, and the Undertaker is now 21-1 at Wrestlemania. The entire Superdome was shocked and silenced by the moment. The audience angrily chanted at Lesnar, before showing respect to Undertaker.

In a grudge match at Wrestlemania 30, John Cena defeated Bray Wyatt via pin fall after delivering his Attitude Adjustment finishing move. There were some interference attempts by Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, but Cena managed to fend them off. Plenty of story telling in the match, and the level of drama was really high.

In a rather interesting move, WWE had Ryback come out to interfere in the match between Miz and Justin Gabriel during the big live event at Madison Square Garden this weekend. Ryback assaulted both performers, but they were able to counter him. Miz and Gabriel both hit their finishing move on Ryback to the enjoyment of the audience.

After Monday Night Raw went off the air last night, Big Show and John Cena stormed the ring to save Daniel Bryan from an attack by Kane and Triple H, who managed to escape to the backstage area. Randy Orton, however, was not as lucky, as he was left out there alone with the three baby faces. Each of them hit their finishing move on the WWE champion.

It gives the added effect of momentum and providing more velocity and ferociousness to the finishing move.

During a recent interview, Kurt Angle revealed that he only has another month left on his contract with TNA. He actually stated September 21 as being the final day of the deal. As usual, Angle left open the possibility of making a return to WWE, while not ruling out an extension with TNA. The former world heavyweight champion stated that no matter where he signs his last deal, it will have to be a part time schedule.

During a recent podcast interview with Jim Ross, Kurt Angle confirmed the longstanding rumors that he and Brock Lesnar got into a backstage fight when both were with WWE. Angle stated that he initiated the brawl with Lesnar because Lesnar was telling the other wrestlers that Angle was too small for him to wrestle. The incident was more of an amateur wrestling match than a fist fight.

Prior to his injury, there were plans in place to have MVP winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from Eric Young. Since the company needed a heel champion to be the antagonist against Kurt Angle and his new on screen authority role, the belt went to Bobby Lashley instead. There are talks that TNA could try to figure out how to transfer the belt over to MVP soon.

In approximately two years, TNA has reduced the amount of contracted performers by nearly half, going from 60 to 33 during that stretch of time. Dixie Carter and company have been forced to allow performers to leave whenever their contracts expire because they need to become fiscally responsible if they wish to remain in business. Rumor has it that only Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Bully Ray, Samoa Joe, Abyss, James Storm, Bobby Roode and Mr Anderson have big salaries.

The latest news coming out of TNA is that Kurt Angle could be done with the company. The former world heavyweight champion underwent surgery this week to repair a torn ACL. Angle had been dealing with the injury for several years now. He is expected to miss the next several months in recovery, and it is highly unlikely that he makes a return before his contract with TNA expires in September.

In order to keep his options open, Kurt Angle has signed on for the lead role of a television pilot called Emergency: LA, which will be centered around a fictional emergency service station in Los Angeles. Katarina Waters, a former WWE diva and TNA knockout, also has a part on the show. The first episode will be filmed soon, and producers will be shopping the series to various television networks afterwards.
