He joked that people thought they were not going to last, so he wants them to pay up on the bet. AJ made a joke as well. The WWE Divas Champion noted how the two of them were buddies on screen not too long ago. Thus far, their marriage has not affected business relationships for either of them.

It looks the business relationship between Alberto Del Rio and WWE has finally come to a close, as both sides released statements today informing their fans of that. The belief is that a settlement agreement has been made backstage. Del Rio will more than likely never pursue legal action against the company for firing him, while WWE is allowing him to work for any promotion in the world that he wants to.

While TNA is having difficulties finding a new home for Impact Wrestling, Eric Bischoff is showing off his knack for getting television networks to give him air time. WGN has announced that they have ordered the first season of Outlaw Country, which is being produced by Bischoff and longtime business partner Jason Hervey. The show will be about the war between sets of brothers on different sides of the law in a Missouri town.

He stated that he has owned it since 2007, which means that Del Wilkes, who has continued to use the gimmick on the independent wrestling circuit over the years, could be legally forced to find a new character to portray.

While it seemed all but certain that Impact Wrestling was going to have a new home in 2015, reports are now surfacing that TNA and Spike TV are close to finalizing a deal to keep the business relationship going. Sources have stated that the two sides have been in negotiation the entire time, even as TNA was allowed to seek a contract with another television network. Dixie Carter was expected to make an announcement this week, but if there is a chance to remain with Spike, the reveal could be delayed.

An independent wrestler sued Abdullah the Butcher for damages that he received during a match seven years ago, and the court has sided with him. A judge has declared that Abdullah must now pay Devon Nicholson $2.3 million in damages. Abdullah was accused of blading Nicholson during the match without his consent. Nicholson contracted Hepatitis C from the incident.
