Long regarded as the heart and soul of the legendary Four Horsemen stable, Arn Anderson is a beloved performer, despite being a heel for most of his career. He turns 57 years old today. A couple of other wrestlers are celebrating their birthdays today as well. Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Greg Valentine turns 64. Tony Garea is now 69. ECW legend Joel Gertner is now 40.

When wrestling fans hear of the Legion of Doom, they automatically think about the Road Warriors. Well, there was a point in time where it was a full blown stable led by Paul Ellering. In addition to Hawk and Animal, the group also included Jake Roberts, Arn Anderson, the man who would go on to play Doink the Clown, King Kong Bundy, the Iron Sheik and the original Sheik.

Word going around right now is that Arn Anderson was the one that pushed WWE to induct Alundra Blayze into the hall of fame. He felt that enough time had been passed to bring up the idea to upper management. The belief is that Vince McMahon was able to convinced to do so because someone told him that it would be a great way to take another jab at WCW. It has been reported that McMahon was the one that asked her to do the trash can bit.

As many of you have already heard, reports surfaced earlier this month that Shawn Michaels and Triple H were the ones that buried CM Punk in front of management backstage when the latter was doing a tryout for WWE. However, another name has surfaced within that group. It is being said that Arn Anderson was another person that was against Punk. The legendary Four Horsemen member has had backstage heat with Punk a couple of times.

Looks like those rumors about WWE having interest in Tessa Blanchard were true. The second generation star was one of 20 women that the company brought in for tryouts at the Performance Center last week. For those that do not know, she is the daughter of the legendary Tully Blanchard, who teamed with Arn Anderson, Ric Flair and Barry Windham in the Four Horsemen during the 1980s. She currently works on the independent circuit.
