Shane McMahon being paid

While all of the details of his contract have yet to be revealed, one interesting information on the pact between Shane McMahon and WWE has made it to the surface. The former vice president of World Wrestling Entertainment is being paid $120,000 for his appearances on Monday Night Raw before his big Hell in a Cell steel cage match at Wrestlemania against the Undertaker. That's more than what some full time performers are being paid.

Sting

Sting making indies appearances

When it comes to making appearances on the independent wrestling circuit, Sting isn't usually one of the faces that you're going to see at these events. Well, the upcoming WWE Hall of Fame inductee has decided to sign on for three shows with Big Time Wrestling. One of the events will also feature former WCW star Lex Luger, which means that the reunion could make the event much more successful than normal.

Daniel Bryan more appearances

In case you haven't noticed, Daniel Bryan has been making a lot more appearances for WWE lately. The belief is that he is doing that to increase fan demand for his return since management is refusing to clear him to wrestle again. He earlier tried to twist their arms during an interview by stating that he will wrestle again even if it it outside of World Wrestling Entertainment. Management did not budge, of course.

Paige on Conan show

In a sign that she is moving up in the eyes of management, Paige is being sent to the Conan O'Brian show this week. She will be promoting Hell in a Cell and the upcoming WWE 2K16 video game. Management generally does not trust performers easily when it comes to making media appearances because they need to know that you're going to present yourself properly. Being good at this role usually results in being rewarded with a push.

Melina returns to wrestling

Three years ago, Melina wrestled her last match against good friend, Jillian Hall, at an independent wrestling show in Pennsylvania. While she did not rule out making various appearances in the industry, she had vowed that her days as an in ring performer were over. The former WWE diva focused on finishing her education. For whatever reasons, though, she made an in ring return at a show in California this weekend.
