Scott Steiner to GFW

Since he has long been known as one of the mot controversial characters in all of professional wrestling, the belief was that Scott Steiner would not be joining another major promotion again. However, it appears that his close relationship with Jeff Jarrett has proven that to be wrong. GFW has signed Steiner and added him to their roster. While there is a slight chance he may wrestle, the belief is that he will simply be doing appearances for them.

Hideo Itami not wrestling

Later on in July, WWE is planning on doing a quick tour of Japan, and they were hoping to bring along Hideo Itami for a couple of crowd pleasing matches. Unfortunately, though, a shoulder injury is going to rob everyone of the chance to see that happening. However, management is still going to be bringing Itami along for the ride, as they feel that a special guest appearance is better than nothing. He has been heavily involved in promoting the shows.

Scott Hall to GFW

There are rumors floating around right now that Scott Hall has signed a contract to be a member of the GFW roster. That is not true. The speculation arose when the promotion revealed that the former Intercontinental Champion has signed on to do an appearance for them in June. While it is true that Hall has stated that he would not be opposed to working another match now that he is somewhat healthy again, he will never be a full time guy again.

Daniel Bryan removed

It appears that WWE has changed their minds in regards to utilizing Daniel Bryan on television. Initially, he was supposed to make an appearance at Payback, while sticking around for a couple of days to do episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. However, management has opted to pull him off the road completely, so that the former world heavyweight champion can focus on rehabbing his injuries and making a comeback.

Bully Ray deal with TNA

To clear up all the speculation surrounding his return to TNA, Bully Ray took to the air to reveal that his appearance on Impact Wrestling was a one time thing. He stated that the front office called and told him that they needed a special guest referee for a world heavyweight championship match. Since he thought it would be fun, Bully opted to sign on for the episode. He stated that he and Devon still enjoy having independent status.

Elijah Burke return to TNA

Earlier in the year, Elijah Burke revealed that he had been in communication with Triple H in regards to a WWE return. However, it now appears that he will be returning to TNA instead. Burke is slated to make an appearance during an episode of Impact Wrestling later on this month. It is being said that he will be doing commentary with Josh Mathews. NO word yet on whether or not that will be his full time role, but do not rule out an in ring return.

Bully Ray returns to TNA

When Bully Ray left TNA because the two sides could not come to an agreement on a new contract, he attempted to go back to WWE, making a surprise appearance as a mystery entrant in the Royal Rumble in January. However, he a full time deal was never given to him, so he opted to to make a quick return to the company that made him a world heavyweight champion for the very first time in his career. A full time return is still a possibility.

Bully Ray returning to TNA

There are some rumblings that Bully Ray could be making his return to TNA tonight on Impact Wrestling. Management has been promoting the fact that a former world heavyweight championship would be making a comeback. However, these rumors have to be taken with a grain of salt, as Bully is being advertised to make appearances for a promotion in New Mexico on Friday and Saturday. Of course, they could have been canceled.

Vince McMahon lies to Steve Austin

Much has been discussed about the rumored backstage heat between Vince McMahon and Steve Austin as of late. We might know what initially started the friction between the two. Austin revealed in an interview with Sports Illustrated that WWE lied to him during his last appearance at Wrestlemania. He was promised that he would be the last to come out during his segment with Hulk Hogan, but they gave that honor to The Rock instead.

Tough Enough cast

It appears that WWE has called in some heavy hitters to make up for the loss of Steve Austin on the next season of Tough Enough. Chris Jericho has finally been announced as the host. He will be joined by a panel consisting of Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan and Paige. Not only that, the trainers are going to be Booker T, Billy Gunn and Lita. There will be guest appearances made on the show by Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and John Cena.
