Roddy Piper's father was an officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police while they lived in Manitoba. Ironically enough, one of the most memorable matches in his WWE career was against the Mountie, where Jacque Rougeau portrayed such a character, at the Royal Rumble in 1992.
